Did he read the original, or a translation? Some translations don't split up the never-ending sentences, which are pretty common in German writing.

There's actually been debate among historians (and others) about translations of it, if it should be kept as close to the barely intelligible German original as possible or if the various versions should be made readable in the new languages. I believe the modern consensus is actually to now make the English, French, etc. translations as bad as the original.

I am going to quote something from Bob I overlooked earlier:

Its copy pasted from the review script, so apparently Bob writes his scripts as giant run on sentences.

I recall that someone from a writer's group I used to attend once said that sentences should be around thirty words at most. What Bob wrote is effectively an entire paragraph's worth of "information" crammed into a single sentence. Plus, that many asides is distracting and detracts from the message he is trying to convey. I mean, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are already gods to the fandom. They didn't need acknowledgement and neither did Kevin Feige or Walt Disney. Hell, I'm not even 100% certain of what Bob is attempting to convey as is sentence too over 150 words to say nothing. It sounds the Boston Bumpkin is trying to take something simple and make it needlessly complex because he believes that it will make him sound more intelligent than he truly is.

Take a look at Einstein's Theory of General Relativity. Its beauty is in its simplicity as "e=mc^2" illustrates the relationship between matter and energy. Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared. Don't get me wrong. Physics along with other branches of science can be incomprehensible to normies, but one shows true intelligence when they can take a complex idea and simplify it for easier communication. Sadly, Bob is an utter moron so he has to stuff so many junk words into a single sentence to show how "smart" he is while proving the exact opposite. Then we get the typical Bobisms like "thinkers vs. believes" that only demonstrate how irredeemably stupid he is.

It makes me question why I ever listened to this blowhard a decade ago.
