And here's a sane view on the Eternals by drinker.

You know what upset me most in what the review reveals? That a character has a body of a child but the desire of an adult which he cannot act upon. Who'd create such a character? 🤔

So Bobby acknowledged that boomers who don't do pronouns are indeed discriminated against. Thanks for speaking the quiet part aloud.

Having to pay for other people's effort is "poor shaming":

Someone who says he has friends who worked for Zimmer then accuses Zimmer for using crack software in his studio. This might blow up.

Bobby is compelled to defend his buddy Walter Chaw, even though Chaw described and savaged the psyche -- "You win!... Maybe [the evidence of your] winning has caused you to assume the role of the people whom you perceive to have bullied you all these years." -- of Bobby's kind.

Anne Rice did, but given some of the other things she's written I'm not sure that's a very comforting answer.

Oh, and there was also an excellent episode of Batman: TAS that covered this subject, much more tragic than creepy. I'm sure Mr. Pop Culture Expert was all over that.

Skyrim also did the adult trapped as a child with Babbette (I think that was her name) who was made a vampire as a child. However, that's definitely going for a creep factor, because she's literally part of a nihilistic assassin cult.

Speaking of synchro-vox, I remember that The Incredibles had an extra feature where they had an "episode" of the old Mr Incredible cartoon. And its literally a pisstake of the old synchro-vox cartoons starring Mr Incredible and Frozone,

For 100 bucks you can get erhu and more. Its worth it if you make content. Hans is right. But the industry is full of piracy.

I hope for poetic justice: this faggot looking for free samplings composes an immensely popular song...that is immediately stolen and given out for free on the Internet, taking money out of his pocket. I wonder if he'll have the same blase attitude towards supporting musicians?

The guy said preferably free as well. Hans was just being flippant about it and reminding him to pay for quality, which is something the guy knew as well. He's probably just broke. Its the twitter idiots that will never create anything good.

The VST thing is so dumb. Sure, Zimmer commenting is weird to me, but anyone who has done anything with VSTs knows that there are very few good free ones. There are some, Ample Sounds has a good cloud drum and accoustic guitar, Amped has a good metal guitar amp, and Valhalla has some good free effects.

If you want an Ehru, there aren't a ton of people who know how to play it in the western world. They're a cheap instrument so if you're talented you could just record yourself, but I get wanting to just fuck about with song files. But these VSTs can get pricey because not only do the people making them need to hire musicians, composers, and all the sound engineers, but they have to program these to work in a bunch of different DAWs, dynamics, and keyswitches.

You can find whole orchestal libraries free, but generally they fucking blow, because they're either made with some kind of synth, or they're put together knowing its a free project and everyone performing accordingly. Great VSTs can run up to thousands (uncommon), but most sit at a couple hundred bucks. However if price is a real challenge, EWQL has a service where you pay like $25 a month and have access to a bunch of their samples.

Yeah, because her angst wasn't that she couldn't have the sexy fun times.... but that no one took her work in the performance arts seriously because the only thing they saw fit to put her in were kiddie roles.....

Not being taken seriously, or dismissed as "just a kid" when you know you've got a good idea is much more relatable and much less squicky than whining that you can't properly orgasm in an eight-year-old's body.

Which is EXACTLY what The emissary himself says when asked about playing a black captain. Timecode 08:20
Also when Richard Biggs died he played Dr. Stephen Franklin on Babylon 5 well at his funeral JMS the creator of B5 was in attendance and Biggs wife came over and thanked JMS for giving Richard his favorite role. Why was it his favorite? Because on B5 he was the Doctor and that's it he wasn't the Black Doctor in the future race didn't matter we moved beyond it and Biggs loved that.

His takes on old cartoons are really funny to me since I'm an autist for old animation and the history of cartoons. Bob fails to realize that the "antifascist" cartoons from the 40s were literally U.S. Gov't funded war propaganda. Were the anti-Japanese cartoons also "woke as fuck" as the anti-Nazi ones, Bob; when Bugs Bunny dresses as a big-toothed Jap with slanty eyes?

Also, 60s-70s is considered by many (myself included) to be the dark ages of American animation, and for a good reason. The artistic highlight back then was cheap and terrible Hanna-Barbera garbage. Were the ungodly looking Synchro-Vox tunes """woke as fuck""", Bob? Since this is what you would see on Saturday mornings in the 70s:
Not to question your analysis, but there is a distinct difference between 1960's Hanna Barbera, which did have some remarkably innovative stuff. With some stunning art styles, such as Johnny Quest (really go rewatch some of it. Pay attention to things like the fully painted backgrounds.) or the Herculoids. Yes it wasn't great animation quality as they were pioneering ever more methods to cut costs for mass market tv production. But they hadn't yet entered the dark ages of artistic bankruptcy that would characterize the 70's and early 80's.

A huge reason most '70s and '80s TV cartoons were bad was due to those cartoons being, at their core, animated toy advertisements. Toy companies would commission these cartoons to advertise the latest plastic crap they were selling. Bob grew up during this era, so it's not hard to see why he became such a consoomer when he grew up in the golden age of consooming.

And it really was a golden age of consooming. For all the ragging we give the Rat about its endless Star Wars and MCU movies and shows, they at least (poorly) attempt to be subtle about getting you to keep watching. '70s and '80s cartoons would literally have ads at the end, telling you to buy the latest in the cartoon's product lineup.

I can hear Bob's dick hardening through the screen. It is not a pleasant sound.

Looking at teenager Bobert makes me think he wasn't bullied enough.
Reading adult Bobert makes me think he wasn't bullied enough.
Examining Bobert's behavios makes be feel certain that he neither educated nor punished enough as a child.

Other shows like Transformers had the Wheelchair kid Chip, Ghostbusters had Winston, C.O.P.S. chief was Black...
If memory serves, the C.O.P.S.' chief name was Bulletproof.

hell most 80's shows had some kind of minority character unless the characters weren't human and even some of those had coded black characters I mean we all know Panthro (Thundercats) and Jazz (Transformers) were black.

Difference was back then minorities were treated as characters and not agendas.
Bingo! Yahtzee! Winnah!

Ironically, Moviebob has the body of an adult byt the desire of a spoiled toddler.

I don't know if I'm interpreting this correctly, but I'd surprised if Moviebob would not be happy to see Texas declare independence from America. After all, that's a lot of Red Wasteland™. Now, if California were to declare its independence from America, Bob would be pissing and moaning that the Democrats would have lost some guaranteed House and Senate seats, as well as a strong "insurace policy" for winning the presidency.

Yeah, because the only Freeze Peach that Moviebob believes in is speech with strict adherance to Bob's political belief system.

Big difference between Hans Zimmer and Moviebob: One is talented and well-respected enough to earn every single penny he makes; the other is the idiot grifter version of Roger Ebert.

Cartoons weren't actually toy commercials until the early 80s. You can't blame the shitty writing of 70s cartoons on that. I'd even argue that writing got better after "toy commercial" cartoons were allowed. And even then, bad writing was more a function of cranking out a gazillion episodes in a short timeframe, so the writing tended to be all over the place/rushed due to multiple writers who didn't always compare notes to keep things consistent. He-man and the Masters of the Universe suffered in this way in Season 2 (transforming Cringer into Battlecat in front of people who shouldn't have seen that), as did, of course, Transformers (3 different origins for the Constructicons, anyone?). And even then, 80s "Toy commercial" cartoons are written way better than your average wokefest of Current Year - something Bob doesn't comprehend, like, at all, because Bob only comprehends Dopamine Hits, and Mario gave him the biggest boner Dopamine Hit EVAR.

As I've said, I don't get why Bob hates the idea of secession so much. If he doesn't want to deal with the MAGA ghouls, why doesn't he support them forming their own states? Heck, he should be sad the Confederates didn't win the Civil War - if they did, he'd be living in a Superyah Fyoocha right now.

I don't think you get just how much he hates the MAGA ghouls. The fact that, somewhere out there, MAGA ghouls exist is enough to get his blood boiling. His perfect world is blighted by the obsoletes, and it will not be healed until all the obsoletes are dead.
