Bob, just because you can't understand inflation when they explain it doesn't mean they can't explain it. Especially when you refuse to listen since you already know everything.

Oh, look he's setting up his moral argument for purging the intellectually deficient untermenschen. Again.
I'm pretty sure Bob just thinks "inflation" is a very specific function of something complicated that only Economists can explain or understand, instead of, you know, the simple and completely accurate definition of printing/creating too much goddamn money which devalues the money people have, which in turn leads to rising prices, because the money ain't worth that much anymore. Bob's so smoothbrained he probably just thinks it's late stage capitalism grasping for extra profit or some shit randomly, that somehow technically wouldn't qualify as inflation.

Wait, WHAT? Bob thinks even the people who are "concerned" about inflation (does he mean EXPERTS?!) can't explain it? What kind of smoothbrained, paste-eating, blue curtainophilic, lead chip crayon consooming logic is that? Good Grief, I could explain inflation, and I don't need a bunch of fancy calculus to do it, either. I took economics courses in school. The Econ 101 teacher said it was "too much money chasing too few goods/services".

I love this so much.

His own of the century is that he's barking stupidly into the wind for hours on end from a COM-PU-TER instead of a phone.

And the lowest of all life, Moviebob toadies, swim up to say, yes. I knew that one was trouble, yes. You sure told him, Bob. He'll never forget that whooping, no sir.
Oh good lord the galaxy-smoothbrainyness of Bob here is just, ugh.

Bob literally believes that he is making a difference/doing something useful and meaningful by tweeting out into the void and getting confirmation bias by other smoothbrained crayon-eaters on twitter. He literally can't get tired of doing it, for it his righteous crusade for the Holy Soopeeryah Fyootchah! It's like he thinks he can farm literal Good Boy Points ™️ to put towards Robot Body and Lunar wheat.

I have to assume Bob meant he's not "at" a phone and left out "at". And I refuse to believe Bob wouldn't have his phone handy for twitter while at said "workstation" (I'm assuming a PC). Phone or PC, I'm sure "touch grass" isn't meant literally, for bob to "waste time" to go outside and literally spread his fingers over the turf. Only an autist would be so literal about it.

Don't Look Up seems to be a political issue for Bobby. I thought it is just a movie?

Well what a coincidence! I saw this movie on boxing day (some friends were talking about it and I had nothing else to watch so I gave it a go). It was not Idiocracy and it was quite long 2.5 hours but despite the usual Netflix crap I enjoyed the setting, I like Lawrence and DiCaprio in their roles and by the middle of the movie the ending was a foregone conclussion - yet you are rooting for it just for the catharsis.

I said it before and I say it again: Bob is not a complex character. Do you know why he hates the movie? Because the president of the United States is a merge of Hillary and Trump. It's female Trump, but she keeps giving backdoor deals to tech oligarchs and platinum donors, but all her fanbase wear red caps and kept calling themselves "true working class americans", etc etc (Also Jonah Hill, who plays her son in the movie keeps saying how "hot" his mom is which reminded me of the trump/Ivanka clips, whatever; call it a 70/30 Trump/Hillary split)

That's it. There's no other reason why he hates this movie. The POTUS is a thoroughly corrupt and incompetent woman so he hates the movie.

What's surprising to me is that the "trust the science" message didn't win over the "mention of mommy Hillary bad" but this is black and white bob we're talking about. If you commit the cardinal sin there is no redemption for you healthen!

But another reason why he hates the movie: there's a scene 3 quarters in where some teenagers are talking about conspiracies and how everything is a 4d chess game only for Jennifer Lawrence to say, "Don't complicate things. They (the elites) are just greedy, incompetent morons doing a smash and grab with the planet and they will kill us all". Of course, painting our leaders as anything other than benevolent ubermench is a sin in Bob's eyes.

Am I being a slow-in-the-mind or does Bob seriously want to get the National Guard to deliver everyone's consoomer goods in his hypothetical national lockdown?

As someone who leans very far to the green side when it comes to the climate, Don't Look Up is a really bad way of getting our point across about the climate crisis.

People watch films to be entertained, not to be preached to about the need to take "climate action" - which the average person can't do. The most any of us can do is write to our MP's. Anything else, be it giving up meat, not flying or whatever, just won't have any effect.

Oh yes! The climate message was on the nose and the whole "trust the science, reee!!!" that was the Arianna Grande scene was grating as hell but still it was less a movie preaching about how we are killing the planet and more about how we are doomed because we are literally bugmen in a civilization full on decline mode. That was the point of the scene where DiCaprio is screaming at the Tv Panelists and the pretty people on tv, where he says "where do we go from here?".

I'll just say that the movie really spoke to my more "accelerationist" side (I'll take the jigsaw pieces now, thanks).

Brainless Bobby demands a supply chain that a fascist or commie would come up with. He also would scream in tard rage like a fascist or commie would when the army inevitably fucks it up.

Mil-Int is literally a joke, and forcing your military to work as delivery is the dumbest fucking shit you could possibly do. Again, it's amazing how he thinks delusionally that he's a neo-lib when he comes up with something that Hitler or Stalin would applaud.

Will Bob ever pay for his transgressions?

He already is paying for his transgressions. He's stuck being himself. Imagine how badly it must suck to be a fat, stupid virgin like him. I bet it's torture. Even worse for him, he's too stupid to ever figure out how to make things better for himself.

Notice how often he horny posts? I suspect his virginity is killing him. Every day that goes by where he hasn't gotten any is most likely torture for him.

Couldn't possibly happen to a shittier sack of weasel assholes though, so fuck him. (Rhetorically speaking of course, NOBODY will ever have sex with him.)

I would hazard a guess that Bob knows nothing about the Armed Services, nor knows anyone that was in them well enough to hear just how inefficient it is at the best of times. But then again Bob thinks all Biden has to do is buy the good doggobots from Boston Dynamics (even though a robot literally can't be a good boi, it can only be what it's programmed to be and isn't even on the level of an animal in terms of "goodness" or "badness" for that matter) and bingo, here comes the Soopeeryah Fyootchah!

The Eternals had their shot and blew it Bob. No one cares. They are as gone as the Inhumans.
Also, the smugness there makes me want to punch him in the face. "You didnt like the movie I liked, now you will have to so you can enjoy your characters" is such a shitty attitude and the more the MCU adopts parts of it (like forcing people to watch those horrendous D minus minus shows) the more it accelerates its own failure.

Has this strategy Marvel does of forcing characters into popularity ever worked? In the comics I will grant that at least Kamala Kahn managed to get stablished enough to be seen viable to be used in other properties, and a lot of that had to do with the big push the comics did for her character.

But in other cases, I don't think so. People like Robert brag about Captain marvel making billion dollar bank on her movie, and yet I was surprised to see how blatantly she got pushed aside on the endgame movie and seems like she won't even be the sole main character on her sequel movie.

And other characters like Kate Bishop and Riri Williams are on Disney + only, so hard to tell if they are really gonna fall into the public's taste. (by the way, anyone watched he Hawkeye show, how was it?)

I just don't like this smug arrogance Robert shows when he thinks that marvel/Disney can just shove shit into popularity, more so in the case of things HE wants to be popular because "I told you so", but I just don't see that happening.

Who cares if the Eternals are going to show up in yet another Marvel event comic against the Avengers and X-men, no one reads capeshit comics anymore, no one cares. If the comics were once a testing ground for what to use for the movies, that was a long time ago, the MCU has long parted ways with anything that resembles the comics aside from character names.

I know a lot of the joy Robert takes out of these movies is thta he thinks he can see the Marvel "matrix" and say how it will go, the marvel guru if you will, but I have yet to see these new characters to blow up big time into popularity thanks to genius of the Marvel/Disney marketing.

I don't know when or under which circumstances it will occur, but Karma will eventually catch up with Moviebob. When it does, it's going to hit him hard.
He's already experiencing it; he has to lie to himself every day and vicariously live through others' works to not just fucking kill himself right on the spot.

His existence is his punishment. I just wish Twitter would uncheckmark or ban him to make him suffer more.

To catch people up who are unaware, Lindsay is quitting because shit be hard yo. Her patreon post has since been hidden behind a paywall. Here's the full text copied by @NeoGAF Lurker whom I can't quote due to the long post bug.

This was going to be a YouTube video, but I just don’t have it in me to invite that kind of scrutiny, to be the last in the sick, sad line of YouTubers who get all weepy on camera and cry about how they just can’t do this anymore, boo hoo hoo. I had planned to move video content to Nebula, but I realize now that doing that is just keeping wounds wide open. My life ended nine months ago - what has been taking up bandwidth ever since then has been a ghost. It’s almost funny, how many people will insist that I have "lost nothing" (you know, because subscriber count is the only metric for success and cancel culture doesn't exist). One YouTube channel chugging along on algorithmic inertia is not success - it’s just an engine driving on fumes.

Many will say this is being melodramatic, that my life isn’t *over*, that there was absolutely nothing stopping me from brushing myself off, building back up goodwill and shutting up and playing the game. And I tried that; in a way I suppose it’s good that I did, because I needed to learn the hard way that that was never going to work. There is no un-fucking this. You can’t find the energy if there is nothing left to convert to it. You can’t be a better person if you are nothing but the hollow shell of one.

2021 has been the worst year of my life. I am traumatized by it. To this day I still have people scolding me by how I handled it, that I should have handled it differently, that I should have “controlled” my “stans”, as if I had the capability to know what any of these people were even saying to strangers on Twitter while I was shitting blood for weeks on end. The worst thing about this whole year is that I can’t even admit this trauma because of all the rhetorical devices people have already come up with to dismiss it. That centering my own pain is evidence of me “not listening” (does it occur to these people that you can listen, and disagree with other people’s conclusions?) That I’m weaponizing my “fragile white womanhood” or whatever to point out that having thousands upon thousands of people who you have never met hate you and say whatever will get them the most updoots about is, in fact, traumatizing. That people I used to know would flagrantly lie about me on Twitter dot com to the tune of thousands of retweets and tens of thousands of likes, and I just had to sit there and take it. My favorite are the people who dismiss any potential harm I might have incurred as justified because I am a “wealthy, white woman” (I am not wealthy), while these same people’s hearts positively *bleed* for Britney Spears.

These people don’t see how similar these talking points are to the same Boomer, bootstrap parenting style that I thought most of us had agreed was abusive - that you need to toughen up, accept your punishment, accept that even if the reaction was outsized that you did SOMETHING wrong, because where there’s smoke there’s fire. Grow a thicker skin. These same people who always crow about “believing victims” telling victims of public dogpiles that they do not deserve to claim their trauma, let alone to process it, because they deserved it. There is no such thing as cancel culture. There is no incentive/reward structure in places like Twitter to call people out. There are no updoots/favs/follows/retweets for hotting a take on whomever is trending.

I reread the 2015 essay “Hot Allostatic Load” for the first time in years last night, and I could not stop crying. Even reading some of these passages now, I can’t stop crying. This was written from the perspective of a trans femme and discusses some rhetorical devices used to demonize trans women specifically, which obviously does not apply to me, but some of it is spot on:

One of the most common tools of exclusion is through mobbing, which is rarely talked about because unlike rape, murder, etc, it’s not easy to pin it on a single person (or scapegoat). Mobbing is emotional abuse practiced by a group of people, usually peers, over a period of time, through methods such as gaslighting, rumor-mongering, and ostracism. It’s most documented in workplace or academic environments (i.e. key points of capitalist tension) but is thoroughly institutionalized into feminist, queer, and radical spaces as well. Here is why it is horrible:

1) It has an unusually strong power to damage the victim’s relationship to society, because it can’t be written off as an outlier, as some singular monster. It reveals a fundamental truth about people that makes it difficult to trust ever again. People become like aliens, like a pack of animals that can turn on you as soon as some mysterious pheromone shift marks you for death.

2) The insidious nature of emotional abuse: How do you fight ostracism and rumors? They leave no bruises, they just starve you.

3) Mobbing typically occurs in places where the victim is trapped by some need or obligation: work, school, circles of friends. This can prolong exposure to damaging extremes.

For these reasons, PTSD is an almost inevitable outcome of any protracted mobbing case.

The Isabel Fall case is almost a textbook example about how online mobbing harms people, and how the people who participate in these mobs never engage in any self-reflection — when some people read Fall’s “Helicopter Story” and questioned the trans bonafides of the author in early 2020, Twitter did what Twitter does and ruined Fall’s life, death by a million cuts, no one single person even beginning to question whether they did anything wrong by jumping to the worst possible faith interpretation of both the text and the author. After a profile written by Emily VanDerWerff was published late in 2021, were lessons learned about the way we use Internet mobs to tear down people we don’t know because of situations we don’t understand? No — one of Fall’s detractors, Neon Yang, became the new scapegoat du jour, using some of the exact same tactics used the prior year to attack Fall.

I’m not going to touch on Yang’s original comments about Fall or the pushback to them, but what was downright charming in its lack of self-awareness about that whole situation was the way people used Fall’s trauma to hurt Yang, the way they invoked Fall being checked into the hospital while Yang said whatever about Fall and “Helicopter Story”, all while having absolutely no idea what was going on in Yang’s private life. What’s particularly galling is how many people accused Yang of “Sending a trans person to the hospital with PTSD” while apparently being completely oblivious to the fact that they could be very well doing the same thing to Yang, a nonbinary trans person. There was no lesson learned on the nature of mindless dogpiling, just Twitter doing what Twitter does - failing to examine systems of abuse while continuing to perpetuate them by laying into a new scapegoat.

Again, a quote from Hot Allostatic Load:

Feminist/queer spaces are more willing to criticize people than abusive systems because they want to reserve the right to use those systems for their own purposes. At least attacking people can be politically viable, especially in a token system where you benefit directly by their absence, or where your status as a good feminist is dependent on constantly rooting out evil.

When the bounty system calls for the ears of evil people, well, most people have a fucking ear.

Something else that was also inevitable - I was going to quit YouTube. I knew I couldn’t do it forever, that I was running out of steam, that I was sick of the increasing dehumanization inherent, that I just didn’t have anything to say about movies anymore. The plan was always to end with Love Never Dies, since it seemed like the best place to end, with some semblance of energy rather than keeping on until I've withered away to nothing. What happened to me in March and April hastened it, but this was always inevitable.

My initial plan was to leave YouTube for Nebula, but I realize now that this is only entrenching myself in a more intimate form of harm rather than the broad, buckshot kind that YouTube invites. I won’t go into detail (not right now, anyway), but I can’t do video content for them either. I can’t make content period. I just can’t do this anymore. There is no healing as long as there is attachment to the thing that makes you suffer, and the thing in this case is being in the public eye at all.

What I wanted was to quietly disappear, but since this is a platform where people are paying me to make content, I feel like I have to make a statement. If it were just me by myself I would just sign off and say goodbye and that would be it, but I have a team who depends on my company for health insurance, and including dependents I supply full benefits for eight people, and here in the US employer-based insurance is often the only feasible option. Saying to everyone “sorry about your children, but they can’t have insurance anymore because Twitter makes me sad” just doesn’t seem like a fair deal (none of them incidentally know I’m posting this).

So the only thing I can do for now is keep this page active with the loose promise that someday I’ll figure out something in the future to make up for this, while asking you please stop messaging me apologizing for not being able to subscribe anymore. You don’t owe me anything. This Patreon is, like my own life and career, just running on fumes.

But all I know now is that being in the public eye at all is a losing game, and I regret all of it. I regret every time I’ve ever stood up for anyone - it always backfires. I regret every time I pushed back against something unjust - it was always just used to hurt me. I regret every time I ever stood up for myself - I never did it “correctly.” I regret every time I showed any vulnerability - just more ammunition to be used against me later. I regret every time I ever tried to play the game with peers and colleagues - they will drop you the second you aren't popular on Twitter anymore. It’s all hollow and brittle, and if there is one thing I have learned this year it is how eminently expendable I am. The good, progressive cis, straight, wealthy white men keep on trucking and coming out on top because deep down, they know that the systems they profess to stand against ultimately exist to benefit them.

And to all the people telling me I need to grow a thicker skin or remove myself from the conversation altogether - you are right. I don’t have it in me to do the former, so I shall do the latter.

Hope your new year is better than this.
The woman who said cancel culture isn't real, but the thing she dubbed "The Beast" which has the same exact function is real go fig, has just been cancelled. She would've made a youtube vid saying everything in the post but she didn't want to be scrutinized. She's tired of being bullied and tired of people that she defends not coming to her aid. It is some primo pitty posting and it worked.
1640698291943.png

We can see each month for the past 6 months she has lost what Bob loses in a year. She is now back to where she was 6 months ago due to this pseudo suicide note.
1640698480617.png

And now to compare to Bob who has yet to say or hint about what's going on.
1640698646131.png

1640698704535.png

I guess it's time for Bob to either grow a set of tits and a vagina or suicide bait. I wonder which is easier?

I'm glad someone asked Bob about this and he responded. He literally is incredibly dumb to think somehow the government can use all these robots to feed the planet. Also that he doesn't view government employees as humans apparently. And that he thinks the world governments could somehow run the entire global economy for more than like a few hours.

There are not enough active duty, national guard and reservist perrsonnel across all branches combined to fully staff the following 100% essential jobs:
farmers, food processors, factory workers for the food itself, factory workers for the food packaging, workers that produce the raw materials for the packaging plants, the transportation workers (boat, plane, train, automotive), all of the ancillary support (mechanics, port operations, oil and gas (refining plants, pipeline workers, field workers), food service personnel to feed them at their jobs, medical staff, factory workers for medical items, raw material suppliers for medical items, fire and police, payroll services for all the above fields, and I am sure that I'm missing a few.

The idea that we then supplement with delivery drones is dumb, because then we have to have people who make the drones, service the drones, load the drones, transport the drones on top of everything else. And thats if they work 100% as planned, which won't be the case.

Then we get to the next big point- who decides who gets whas food stuffs? In this emergancy scenario, will the goverment be deciding what food you're going to get? Or will they simply be a grocery food door dash where you put in an order? The first seems more effienct, but then you wont be getting and treats. Stuff is already going to be rationed. 1500-1800 cal / day diet packs will be whats delivered, regardless of your previous shopping habits and income, unless you're rich enough to bribe some army folks. But you're supposed to be locked up avoiding people and the coof....
Anyway, this is barely scratching the surface of the problems of Robert's plan, and I think it should be obvious that the plan is retarded and would never work.

There is no way for there to be a 100% lock down as there are too many moving peices to the system that sustains the lives of the citizens of this country.

Interesting to note that of all the jobs that Robert likes to tout as "real, true 21st century labor/work" aren't essential to that life support- only the food service jobs, and of those jobs, it would not be starbucks baristas.

I'm assuming she made it members-only (I was going to make an "only fans" joke here but then I got a bit queasy) after you posted it. Not that the pretentious-as-hell title doesn't tell me a good bit already. Since I don't keep up with her thread religiously, let's see.

Ahhhh. I didn't read the entire thing, I admit, because I didn't have the Linkin Park and razor blades that I felt would complete the mood.

(EDIT: Have since seen @Ralph Barnhardt's followup post. Thank you for that!)
I wish he'd stop with the stupid automation shit.

Bob and I will be dead before we get a full scale automated society.

They can still barely make a robot that can walk for any meaningful amount of time before falling over.
I do love those compilation videos, though. It looks like all we need to stop the robot revolution is an open bar. (Glances at @Flexo.)

I appreciate the sentiment that computers are more interesting when they fail to mimic humans than when they succeed, because they never fail in an expected way.

It'll never be victory until Bob is back on The Escapist with a big tittied asian wife sucking his robot body's dick and Kevin Feige gives him infinite money to film a Spider-Man movie in space.
Oh come on, that sentence is completely unbelievable. Bob filming a movie? Really?

But as you pointed out, the National Guard are reservists who would be yoinked out of their day-to-day lives to fill in for jobs elsewhere. So you're not actually solving the problem, you're just shifting it around. And furthermore, the National Guard is nowhere near as large as Bobby thinks. In the example that the reply gave, there are 8 million truckers out there. Y'know how big the National Guard is? 443,543. So even if you assume that every single one of those are licensed to drive trucks, you've still got a 7.5 million shortfall. And that's before you get into all the other necessary jobs out there.

(Oh, and the Army Corps of Engineers? About 37,000 people.)
Wow. I assumed the numbers were bad but I didn't realize they were quite that dire. And the guard is being pulled in so many different directions.... Oh, that ain't good.

I love this so much.

His own of the century is that he's barking stupidly into the wind for hours on end from a COM-PU-TER instead of a phone.
"Workstation", actually. Which makes it funnier. Not only does he think using a workstation implies working while he's using it to fart about on Twitter, he also doesn't realize that workstation is generally used to refer to a specific kind of computer (basically server-class hardware in a desktop box) and I am damn sure he's not using one. Even the machine he's using for video editing is probably just a midrange PC. He's not AutoCADding in his spare time.

(In my IT career I have had to pull a DVD entitled "Horny Hairy Girls" out of a workstation's failed optical drive. So many potential jokes.)

The Econ 101 teacher said it was "too much money chasing too few goods/services".
I like that summary - I think I'll steal it. Thank you!

Does Blob now tweet defense of Ellis in the throws of thirst lust that helps his diabetic impotence? Or does he join the mob against her to remain true to the cult, and when no ones looking get a hope of molesting the corpse to lose his virginity?
Or does he keep his head down and wait for consensus to emerge like he does with opinions of some movies?

I have a feeling she's being quietly dropped from the YouTube partnership program. This was way too sudden to only be about the internet being a big ol' meanie to her.
Will Bob ever pay for his transgressions?

View attachment 2834556
Well, he's been on YouTube for over a decade and makes $13.5k/year. The minimum wage in Boston is $28k/year.

The man who hates humanity has to rely on the unwashed masses to keep his head above water.

Or does he keep his head down and wait for consensus to emerge like he does with opinions of some movies?
Doubt he'll even do that much.

My bet is that he will keep quiet, maybe if enough people pester him, he will take the "oh-so-mighty" high ground taker and say that he doesn't have anything to say besides he wishes good luck to Lindsay (mind you, he won't even mention her name).

Mind you, right now Robert is stroking his little chubby to a near heart attack, he revels in this shit, but the people making the BobMob jokes also hate his ass, and they just want an excuse to bring Robert to the shit sho, not to mention that Ellis still do have a lot of support, seeing how much support she got from patreon, so it ain't like he can just dunk on her like he does with Greenwald or Coffin, because the Ellis fans can be just as rabid as the people who attacked her.

To be fair, keeping complete silence is the winning play here, but Robert ain't playing it because he is smart, but because he is a bitch.
