One thing that this thread clearly establishes is that there is one thing that Roberto is even worse at than being "movie critic". This is of course being a pitcher of ideas for movies. Where do I even begin with this one?
1. I wasn't even sure who Al Borian is, no one remembers his name
2. "Home Improvement" nostalgic yearning? I repeat,
"Home Improvement" nostalgic yearning? Who and in which age group wants "Home Improvement" sequel/spinoff/anything? Not even once I heard anyone cares for this.
3. Al was even in "Home Improvement" not an interesting or remembered part of the show. He is not some Uncle Jessie/Steve Urkel type of secondary character that stelas the show, He was there. Nothing important about him. That weird neighbour behind the fence is more remembered.
4. First season Pamela Anderson is more remembred and we can all admit that we will be more intrigued by Pamela Anderson show than anything that Blob mind can conjure.
5. I am very generous with saying that "reviving sitcoms" has mixed results. "Fuller House" is not failing, but its not this mega success story. "Saved by the Bell" largely exists in uncaring void and nothing else caught on. People may love "Fiends" and "Seinfeld" etc. but not enough to just watch new series withou the main characters or very aged version of them that proves how much the ideas and themes aged and dont work well in todays society. Which brings us to...
6. The more Roberto's explains his idea, the worse it gets. The "sidekick" which tries to push in the show "internet techniobabble" like QR codes and blockchain is not going to pull in younger crowds. Its the same thing as all the shows with stupid hacking scenes or the Video Game episodes of CSI. They all come out disconnected essays by Boomers explaining to youngsters how everything was better in ye ol'days. Everyone which has semblence of technological knowledge (95% of those who may watch this series has better tech knowledge than Roberto or anyone which could write this) will roll their eyes and just HATE this thing.

Lastly, unconnected, but I did not bother to add the quotes. His "Captain Marvel" new spiel proves several things: he cant think of any original idea for the next phase so he just wants to recycle the older materials from the MCU (lets break the Avengers, just like in CW and then do big event like in Endgame...), He is thirsting over young girls more and more to the point of pushing 80s like "kids vs adults" movies (everyone hates that, even the teenagers of today know its dated ideas and love more "the older heroes") and he is really overrated by those who he converses with about his "predicting" ability. This is something people here can give more insight than me, do we have some compiled list of MovieBov "predictions" that came true? Because for the life of me, I dont remember single one.
And it's stupid how Bob bitches about Gwen Stacy having to always be Spiderman's girlfriend who dies, but he wants to double down on Carol Danvers only ever being interesting because she gave Rogue, a much more interesting character, cool super powers.
Exactly, also reminder, in the Comics which Roberto clearly does not care about, Carol was not in a coma for large amount of time (she woke up the same issue). Carol was also the best "human" friend the X-Men had for many years after the incident, helping them vs the government. Also, the entiore reason for the incident was to erase that weird "raped by her son" storyline and not to make her "pay for her sins" as Roberto wants it to be.
