That's...odd. I've been going every time I can, and while there's a question on the pre-donation questionnaire that asks if I've been jabbed, I've never been turned away because I answered no, nor have I had to show my nonexistent papers. All I've ever had to do is wear a mask (tried to get away without one last time, but no dice, though it still took them a while to remember to tell me to). Were you going to a blood drive at a medical facility or do you live in a blue state? Those are the only reasons I can think of why they might do that.
