The Science Of MovieBob: Pathways In Objective Science To The Future (draft submitted to The Epistemological Journal of Bobian Thinking)

The core of Bob's objectively proven scientific finding is that Natural Selection favors the 2% of the population that is smart like him and not the 98% of the population that relies on physical strength. As such, the scientific process of evolution will result in latter dying off in the next few decades and leaving The Future for the smart. Since society also evolves following a scientific process it too will cease to favor physical strength and instead begin rewarding intellectual capacity which will hasten the transition to The Future.

Recognizing this established evolutionary path early in his life Bob chose to focus his formal education (Multimedia Art, Salem State, 2003-ish) and his career path (popular film reviewing and Super Mario Bros. 3 analysis) to select for the development of intellectual capital. Bob considers the fact that he was able to achieve this path to accessing The Future a moral condemnation of those who refuse to do likewise. As they could have also positioned themselves for access to The Future, Bob does not feel that he should concern himself with their scientifically determined fate. Further, Bob contends that anything that advances to The Future is Good and anything that slows or retards that process is Bad. This objective and scientifically supported moral framework helps to inform Bobian reasoning.

Bob rejects democracy in favor of a Science Council with absolute power that decides all things for the planet. The basis of policy on science and reason will help advance to The Future rather than being held up by concerns traditional to democratic governance. The flaws of democracy are quite evident when one recognizes that such a system will cater to the 98% of the population that rejects Thinking in favor of Belief in physical strength. Since they will always be the majority in any kind of majoritarian system they will be able to sway policy to their interests rather than towards the objective Good of pursuing The Future. However, this does not lead Bob to despair as while the length of the process may test his enormous patience the scientific fact of Natural Selection will ensure that the backwards 98% of the population will die off soon and eventually leave the 2% of the population prepared for The Future able to implement Good policy even in a democratic system.

Bob also rejects Marxian economics for its backwards Belief in physical strength and its desire to maintain a system of labor. Instead Bob supports global capitalism as the path scientifically proven to lead to The Future as best exemplified by the People's Republic of China. It is on these grounds that Bob rejected both the racist backwards policies of Donald Trump as well as the equally racist backwards policies of Bernie Sanders. Bob found that both were rejecting science and reason by appealing to the unevolved 98% of the population rather than endorsing The Future as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton repeatedly did in 2012 and 2016 respectively. While Bob is not opposed to the welfare state in the short term he considers it a distraction from simply advancing to The Future where such problems do not exist due to the elimination of scarcity and even physical bodies.

Although Bob may find history personally interesting its only true objective value lies in how it progresses to The Future. Similarly, philosophy and sociology provide little value as they often raise objections to the pursuit of The Future in favor of unreasoning Belief. Bob condemns both "ideology" and "principle" for the restrictions they place on the scientific advancement to The Future as proven by Natural Selection. Thwarting evolutionary processes like Natural Selection has no basis in science and reasoning for evolution is a scientific fact and to oppose it is to elevate Belief over Thinking. This is not to say that all uses of science are praiseworthy, as an objective reasoner Bob understands that the 98% of the population that refuses to evolve can manipulate science into supporting its goals of opposing The Future. For example, medical advancements that are intended by the evolutionary process to support the 2% of the population chosen by Natural Selection may also extend the life of the Believers despite the wishes of Natural Selection. While under a proper governmental system there would be objectively Good policies based on science and reason in place to prevent this misusage of science but under a democratic form of government this manipulation may find itself support by Bad policy.

As we can see, in Bobian ethics there is a strong scientific case for the state to use force to prevent the violence of the Believers from being imposed on the scientifically superior Thinker class. However, while Bob concedes the science and reason of this objective conclusion he appeals to our greater nature for a more humble policy. Instead, Bob advocates that we simply remove civilization from those areas where Believers live and allow Natural Selection to operate without any thumb on the scale. Despite this objectively humane policy working for the Good of pursuing The Future it may find opposition within democratic systems. With all of these concerns in mind we must ask if science and reason do not demand that action be taken so that the suffering of those denied The Future comes to an end and the misery that is seeing the continued existence of 98% of the population also come to a humane and scientific end as demanded by Natural Selection.

As for The Future itself, Bob generally describes it in terms of uploading the brain into various robot bodies on nearby objects (the Moon, Mars) and then watching Disney films.

Right, in The Future (which in 2016 he suggested was just between 10-40 years away), The Thinkers will apparently have an eternal existence. I think we can safely say that Bob doesn't understand the concept of natural selection at all, and what he calls Natural Selection is basically a religious concept in a religion I dub Moviebobism.
