There are valid arguments against IQ tests, but Bob probably hates them as a result of his hostile personality coupled with his narcissism and delusions of grandeur. He never mentioned moving back in with his mother but how long did it take someone here to find him? As I recall - do correct me if I'm wrong - he said something suspicious and someone checked his voting registration. In a sense he was trying not to be found (perhaps not as extreme as he's trying to make it out like he'd do here, but still he was trying to hide his location) and we weren't even looking for him but he still got found (and found out).
