Not only do you get to hear that yes, the film about a bunch of punchy dudes in tights is high art, and even new mythology, but the people who think that you should have a big glass of calm the fuck down are just seething with impotent jealousy.

I saw Bob's review of Morbius, and he only had two good points (which even then are things anyone can agree on) but it's undermined by how the entire video is just him repeating that it sucks.

For a guy who dogged on YMS for reviewing films he didn't fully watch, Bob gives less depth in his review than YMS does on movies he didn't fully experience.

I'm in my 40s, and I'm of a similar mindset. I don't watch vintage Disney much (if at all) any more, but that's a direct result of limited accesibility on broacast/cable TV, not out of hatred toward the brand (if you start playing any of those Goofy sports shorts, I'll be there ASAP).

Y'know, if I were looking for opinions on an adaptation of a fictional work, and I had to choose between fans of the work and critics who are antagonistic towards it, I can absolutely guarantee I would listen to the fans' opinions every time.

I don't care how much Halo hurt your precious Nintenny feelings, Bobbo. I don't care that you want Master Chief to go die in a fire while every game is just Mario forever. Fans reacting negatively to the Halo TV show (and rightfully so, from what I've heard) does not mean it's actually good.
