Well, if you need proof that fools and their money are indeed soon parted, I took another peek at Bob's Patreon.


It seems that on April 18th, despite his patron count dropping by one, his total earnings jumped by $141. He either lost two patrons and gained a very stupid one with too much disposable income, or lost one while another bumped up their pledge by a ridiculous amount. This puts him almost back to his year-to-date high, but not quite.

I tried to see if I could figure out a reason why this massive spike occurred. None of his tweets really got a lot of traction in that timeframe, aside from a couple related to Pixar's latest beanmouth atrocity and 9/11, but even those got only about 100 apiece. The only video he released around then was his non-review of the third Fantastic Beasts movie, but that came out on April 15th, and it doesn't have any more views than any of his other videos. Did a fan want to spite J.K. Rowling by giving a fat Masshole a ridiculous amount of money? Dunno why they wouldn't put it towards a troon charity if that were the case, but maybe that's for the best. I'd rather troons didn't have more resources to groom children with.

I mean, the only other explanation I can think of is that Bob deliberately spent money to prop up his account and make it look bigger than it is, but he wouldn't do that, right? Surely the Superior Thinker can stand on his own and compete in the marketplace of ideas on his own merits, right?

Something to watch for in the future. If you see a massive drop, it's that patron's pledge cutting out.

I think it's mostly 3, though I wouldn't put it past Bob's ego to use option 1. Bob is probably embarrassed to admit that he's on his own and wants to pretend he's still part of a bigger company, even though his refusal to hire editors is entirely his own choice. Sure, he's claimed that he doesn't want to do it because he doesn't want to pay editors "slave wages," but that hasn't stopped pretty much any other channel from doing so. A lot of these smaller editors are just happy to get any work, and it's usually a side gig that they work on in addition to their actual jobs, so it's not like they're working hand to mouth as they toil away in their editing software. I think it's legitimately greed that prevents Bob from hiring anyone, the idea that as the "talent," he deserves all the money for his "hard work." Could also be that nobody actually wants to work with him since he's such a small-time channel and a caustic asshole.

Speaking of other channels that do hire editors to share the load, you might recall Adam/YMS from the recent debacle about his reviews that Bob barged into. Well, he finally released part 1 of his Lion King 2019 review yesterday, and in that time has already amassed over 400k views on an over two-hour video (the video itself is 2hr40min, but the last half hour is just him discussing the delays in getting the review out and other projects). Whatever your opinions of him are, and whether or not you feel Disney's soulless remake deserves that much time devoted to picking it apart, those kind of numbers on an autistic dissection of how much the remake got wrong in only half of the movie is impressive work.

Bob, meanwhile, hasn't had numbers anywhere near that good in quite literally years. All of his videos that are above that viewcount (as of this writing, anyway; the number will go down as YMS's views go up) came out a minimum of four and a half years ago, and nearly all of them are about capeshit. He hasn't had a video crack six digit views since his Really That Good on Star Wars back in late 2019. The closest analogue to the YMS review is his Really That Bad on Batman v Superman, whose first part clocks in at an hour and a half and has 600k views over four years later. I imagine that by this time tomorrow, YMS's will be far ahead of that.

When laid out like this, it just makes Bob's claim that he didn't want to be used by someone else for free promotion all the funnier. Bob is a nobody that keeps getting left in the dust by newer and better reviewers, whether it's short-form reviews/shitposts (Drinker) or long-form discussions/dissections (YMS).

I've always suspected that the reason Bob's Patreon numbers are so high is that he actually subscribes to other people's Patreon accounts back, creating an endless loop of donations in a circle, shaved off slightly by the site's cut and the actual money people take in. Nobody's actually making very much, but the numbers stay high and they get enough of a pittance that they can continue to exist.

Keep in mind, Bob doesn't have enough money to live anywhere but a basement.

Why it only allows "good speech" don't you know! (Just ignore what the plain text reads. I mean why do you think Bob's reply to "read the text of the bill" was "GOP lie"?)

That’s where they are facing hate crime and attempted murder charges for an alleged family ambush.

Police say Oleh Makarenko was in a nine-month homosexual relationship, which would end with his lover being beaten so badly by Makarenko’s family that the victim became blind.

Authorities allege that Oleh Makarenko, who is also known as Alex, was being forced to marry a woman by his mother.

Last week Local 10 News spoke with Oleh Makarenko’s fiancé.

“I don’t believe it at all, I have proof,” Christina Herman said. “I wear a ring which is an engagement and one kind of marriage ring. I know Alex has his ring in jail. That is proof to me. I know we are in a relationship.”

Herman was in tears, saying her 21-year-old fiancé loves her and is the love of her life, and his family would never beat man up for being gay.

But police say Makarenko’s family became enraged when they found out he was in a gay relationship for nine months.

On Aug. 6, three members of the Makarenko family barged into the victims home, according to police.

A police report stated that, “All four of the suspects continued holding him and began punching, kicking, and hitting him all over his face and body.”

The victim allegedly told Makarenko’s mother, “Unfortunately, your son is gay.”

The victim said that the reason for this attack was because he was a homosexual, because he was dating Makarenko, and the family felt that he made Makarenko a homosexual, according to the report.

Makarenko’s 17-year-old sister believes her family could never do such a horrible thing.

“They don’t deserve this,” Diana Makarenko said of her family. “No innocent person should go through that.”

I just knew it. I just knew as soon as the case was mentioned that some favorite group of the Left would be involved. Every. Damn. Time.

"Should we try and assimilate them?"
"No! That's colonialism!"
[A few days later]
"WTF why is racism going up? Must be those damn white people!"

It just drives me nuts because I know even as we robots go about killing all humans they're still going to blame it on white people. They will never. learn.

The far left keeps using that word, "colonialism". It does not mean what they think it means.
