The Escapist literally paid for Bob's checkmark. Bob is literally protected from his rampant retarded rhetoric because of his checkmark. Bob has tools and connections to twitter that regular losers don't because of his checkmark. Bob cannot get his "personal" account verified because no one will pay twitter for it and that is why it's dead. Blobby bitches way too much about Student Loans for it not to be personal. So I went to Salem State University website and yearly tuition is about 12 grand and that's without Room and Board which Blobby didn't do he lived at home. So 4 years and some various other cost he spent what 50 maybe 60 grand on school.
He's been out of school 18 years and hadn't yet paid it off!
The stupid Fat Fuck has lived in family basements and has no girlfriend/wife or kids and he had no friends to be spending money going out with.
This just proves that one he doesn't make much money and two he can't manage the little money he makes either.
Because even if he worked fucking retail he could had paid most if not all of that off within 18 years given he has no major cost outside of his childish hobbies, booze, and junk food.

It's silly he hasn't changed it considering like his current username, it's nonsense now that we're so removed from the context. He pinned it after one of the countless times he got his panties in a twist when people started calling him ableist after his usual "Stupid and evil are the same thing" and his classic "I never said the disabled are evil. I never said people who didn't go to college are evil" defense failed.
It's happened so many times that you'd think what his slogan says about himself gets drilled in his head even with a lack of self awareness but I guess not.

It's emblematic of Bob's general approach to life: don't bother making any improvements, just keep coasting on inertia. He's been doing this shit for almost 15 years now, and he still has not noticeably improved his craft. He still writes with horrible grammar and constant run-on sentences. He still does the fast-talk editing even though he isn't limited to ten-minute videos anymore. He still has a terrible microphone and doesn't know how to do audio mixing. He still can't chroma key for shit. He still gives the same basic bitch consoomer opinions and never steps out of line with his supposed fellow travelers. He still has that same arrogant know-it-all attitude that suffuses every interaction he has ever had with another person.
Any number of these issues, if addressed, could do something to turn around his declining relevance. But that would require effort on Bob's part, and it's just easier to keep doing what he's been doing. It would not surprise me to find out he's still making the exact same videos five or ten years from now, assuming the betus or alcoholism doesn't do him in first.
ETA: Speaking of Bob's horrendous writing, I was scrolling through his Patreon to see if he was keeping it updated. He does post links to his latest videos there as well, but dear God, the blurbs he writes for those posts are just awful. Big post, but while working on a larger lolcow-related project, I ended up with a giant text archive of Bob's tweets. I wasn't planning on doing much with it initially, but as I compared it to other archives, I started to wonder what kind of insights into Bob you could gain from it. However, what started off as humorous programming detour wound up becoming a harrowing descent into social media addiction.
Despite using Twitter for less time than other lolcows here, Bob's output is by far the largest. The only account that has come close is Kevin Gibes' and even then that one has an entire two years on his. At the time of archiving, Bob had 152,881 tweets under his belt, with a 38 tweet-a-day average. If he spent at least one minute composing each of those, that would mean he's spent 106 days (minimum) just looking at the fucking prompt alone. The finding that surprised me the most is that the longest break this man has taken from twitter is only three days, which was back in 2011. It's not that I find that number particularly shocking or hard to believe, it's that I had literally joked to myself about it being something like that before I ran the program for the first time.
One of the benefits of having a full archive to work with, is that it allows you to pinpoint specifically big spergouts. Here's a few:

He started out relatively reserved, but that ended after an unprecedented chimp out in 2011. I find it interesting that there's a period around from around 2018 to 2020 where Bobby was hardly able to go single day without swearing. It seems that he's dialed it down in the last year or so, possibly suggesting that the presidency of Joe Biden has had a soothing effect on his otherwise volatile psyche.
Something worth mentioning is that I didn't download retweets, which would have painted an even bleaker picture here. The main takeaway I got from this is that Bob's breaks from twitter have become less frequent and shorter in duration over time. Additionally, if you had to pick out a point where his addiction really kicked in full swing, the twitter bug seems to have bit him around 2013 and has gradually worsened.
If nothing I've shown you hasn't already been incredibly depressing, then a look at Bob's word choice should finish the job. Admittedly, I cherry-picked this for the sake of humor, so I'll include the full output file if anyone else wants to look at it. The results probably won't be that surprising to any of the regulars here, but it shows how his preoccupations stack up which each other. I was bemused to learn that he's said "feige" slightly more than he's said "hitler".
Conclusion:
This man is insane. I don't think that was up for debate or that I needed to datamine his tweets to figure that out, but here we are. For anyone here that finds themselves getting even mildly frustrated with Bob's hot takes, realize that this man is beneath your contempt. He has willingly entombed himself with Twitter, and with each inane musing he posts, he puts the means of escape further and further out of reach. May God have mercy on his soul.

He actually didn't get it until 2016, and was complaining about how long it took to finally get one. Twitter was probably just sick of him sending them messages about when he was going to get approved and finally just gave it to him out of annoyance.
I went back to see how much it cost back in 2000 when he attended, and it looks like it was only $3000 back then. Which is even funnier considering he really should have been able to pay off 12-15k by this point.
And the fact that he likes spectacle better than introspection.

I doublechecked and you're right lol. Here I was, assuming that Bobby's mellowed out over time. I'll try to update the program to check for f*cks and sh*ts later. When I wrote that part, I made it ignore asterisks since he was prone to using them for *emphasis* to the point where it was throwing the output off. My expectation is that the graphs won't be radically different looking, but now I'm wondering why he only self censors some of the time as opposed to all.

Twitter used to allow anyone to get verified, you simply had to submit proof that you were the person you claimed to be. They stopped this in 2017 because too many people wanted Blue Checks and their backlog was gigantic.
Luke probably has had over a million tweets by now, his old now locked account has 896K tweets and he deleted a ton of them. Chu only had like 550K or something. Another Rat King cow, sapphixy, has over 576K.
