From trailer, it seems one of the catches is they're making her a straight copy of the Hulk with her transformations being based on anger rather than She-Hulk being reflective of Jen's inner self. There seems to be a trend in the MCU when adapting legacy characters to make them as direct a counterpart to the original as possible. Examples like giving Ms. Marvel energy powers to match Captain Marvel or America Chavez becoming a wizard so you have a Dr. Strange Jr. Last one's especially bizarre since America isn't a Strange legacy character

A little bit spergy from my part but I want to toss my two cents on this. I think It works in some areas like Sam Wilson, and even Kate Bishop because they were inspired by the original heroes, and left impact on them to take the mantle. I don't exactly see America becoming Dr. Strange Jr due to the nature of her character, and powers. However where I think the MCU got extremely heavy handed with this copy approach is Kamala. This is Feige straight up changing her story in order to fit in The Marvels. Even if said change goes against what made her appealing. A street level hero that looks for the little guy like Spider-man with a different set of powers that gives her own set of challenges and identity.
A change that has not gone well with the fans of the character. But I doubt Bob will acknowledge it as it is more than clear he doesn't give a single fuck about the comics as seen with him failing to fully understand Spider-man as discussed in the past, and only uses Wikipedia to make himself wise about it.

For better or worse, the characters to come after end up sprouting from decades of continuity with background lore you need a masters in to understand.
I mean let's not even use one of the "new" SJW characters - let's look at a white male classic: Venom. Spider-man [insert origin here] goes to alien world [complicated story] and gets alien lifeform as a new suit which he then rejects and it bonds with this Eddie guy who happens to hate Spider-man. Ain't no normie going to sit through all that, they're eyes glazed over halfway through the sentence.

I had to check if this was some sort of tongue in cheek thing but no. It's an article about a schizophrenic woman who stopped taking her meds one day and she's now running a support group. As pure clown world as that sounds according to the article, which is just "adapted from his book" whatever that means, the meds were doing her a lot of harm and by the account given it sounds like she was over medicated. That's assuming any of that was true as we only hear her story from her, a schizophrenic woman who said "Meds away!". How did she learn to live with the voices? Did they just dissipate over time? Did she discover a new cure that years of medical research failed to find.
I find this incredibly frustrating because the adverse side effects of medications, compounded by copious colorful chemical cocktails she was taking, is a real thing. It's written up as a bad thing, there are MULTIPLE paragraphs all describing how the drugs they're using now are basically the same ones from 70 years ago (the veracity of this I have no idea), they're doing real harm and the field seems to be content with this. We are then greeted with this story about how the voices in her head told her that "they" were going to kill her and she needed to kill "them" first and she almost went through with it.
How do I balance these two things?

This author wants me to be sympathetic to her and her plight, applaud her for her bravery for going cold turkey, facing down the popular narrative that crazy people need meds, and then tells me that one day she just snapped and was ready to kill people before they had a chance to kill her. He never does say what it was that talked her off that ledge. Clearly it wasn't the voices. There's a lot of things he doesn't say because this the flowery prose of a wannabe New York Times bestseller. This author is Bob levels of poor sentence structure and bad punctuation.

If I'm to understand right the situation involves a lot more than Ukraine. For one, it's not Ukraine that's getting the bulk of formula, it's illegal immigrants flooding the southern border and we are required by law to give the mothers baby formula. Two, we have shit like WIC to blame.
WIC stands for Women, Infant, and Children. It's a social program set up to ensure that those three groups have sufficient food an nutrition.
The company Abbot, from what I've been told, has the government contract to use their baby formula for WIC. Well Abbot got shut down in February because of health concerns and have been shut down ever since. The USDA allowed WIC recipients to use something other than Abbot. Now you got a supply shortage and all of these people now taking stuff that they never had to before because their supply is all dried up.
