Having read the "spoilers" from the leak, I can tell you it's nothing special.
Jane's cancer arbitrarily being a thing they keep from the comics despite having no reason to exist in this story and adds almost nothing since she dies regardless. I've seen people thinking Jane-Thor was going to be permanent unlike the books which I always thought was a silly idea.

Somewhat of a generic opinion but IMO Phase 1 was the peak and everything afterwards was just coasting on the popularity/hype that Avengers 1 had at release. It had the neatest narrative tying everything together even if I'd disagree with some decisions. Phase 2's mostly bland to bad but where I might differ from common opinions is Age of Ultron onward was when things got absolutely bad. Sure, general audiences like Phase 3 and Infinity War was unironically good but if you read behind the scenes interviews, it's the point where they bought into their own hype especially with how often they started radically altering characters even on the level of Spider-Man to take very little from their source material. Sure, they still had the movie-only audience hooked but it's very off putting if you're into the comics, games, cartoons, or whatever else which is extra ironic if the MCU is what brought you in the first place.

Phase 4's fascinating since we're past the breaking point where both poorly thought out adaptation ideas from the mid 2000s and their own ego are taking their toll. It's becoming increasingly harder to deny that barely anything in the MCU resembles "Marvel-Marvel" in any sense which is a problem regardless of whatever medium you like. Hell, I've seen a bunch of cases of MCU fans getting fed up since it's slowly donning on them whenever they see things like Kamala Khan as a genie or Namor not being Atlantean at all but Mexican.

I could ramble about their negative impact on multiple mediums but not really worth doing, it's been said a million times.
I was just going to say that.

Girl Thor was such a lame arc that the fact they adapted it just made my eyes roll until I could literally watch my brain cells shriveling up. I remember in the wrap up of her comic, she dies and is welcomed into Valhalla by Odin personally. Then she decides she still wants to live (despite it being a plot point that she wasn't seeking treatment for her cancer) in her cancer ravaged body for what I assume is about the next four days. Granted, she later became Valkyrie, but that was well into when I stopped following it to laugh at it.

The only good thing to come out of the lady Thor arc, was during the run up to Secret Wars, while Thor was unworthy at the time, he had an alternate version of Mjolnir that only worked for those unworthy. Finally right before the universe is destroyed by the beyonders, Thor and Hyperion prepare to make their suicidal last stand, and suddenly Thor is unable to wield the hammer.

Thor pauses and laughs, drawing his axe, proclaiming that its truly the end, he'll face it as his father's son, and promises that he'll race Hyperion to Valhalla and the two go down swinging. I loved it because it felt like a melding of the whole Norse Ragnarok, "let's all go get killed fighting impossible odds" and the Marvel universe.

I can't say I'm excited for Thor: Another One, but I can't even remember the last capeshit film I actually went to theaters for.

I'm pretty sure the only way he could be convinced to go through with it is if you convinced him that you'd make sure his sacrifice was taught in schools and he'd be a posthumous celebrity. Anything else he'd see as worse than death, no matter how everyone else benefits.
Nah, he's a narcist and would refuse ANY amount of personal loss and sacrifice. Even if it would bring utopia, he'd never do it if he couldn't also be there to enjoy it.

He'd immediately berate the Ghost of Superior Future who showed him the vision for showing a future without robo-immortality where he wouldn't HAVE to make a sacrifice, or he'd only have to make an ultimately meaningless and symbolic one of giving up his fat, used-up, husk of a body.

If a five-year-old wouldn't make the trade, neither would Bob.

Question: "Is Moviebob worried about damaging its brand or is Moviebob just a coward?"

Correct answer: Yes.

There are only three circumstances under which Moviebob's Twitter feed will ever be deleted.

The first: Someone files a libel suit against Bob. Triggered, Bob attempts to save face by wiping clean an feed with 280,000+ posts, which results in Bob implying that such comments were never made at all. This is an obvious lie on Bob's part, as there are countless screenshots of Bob repeatedly resorting to character assassination, ad hominem tactics, and baseless lies to try and appear as a "good guy".

The second: Bob's most repugnant posts are reported en masse. This would require Twitter admins to wake up and throroughly review Bob's entire account. If and when Twitter's admins come to the realization that Bob has repeatly supported violent behavior (BLM, 2017 Berkeley riots, Brett Kavanaugh), repeatly spewed hateful behavior ("acceptable racism against whites", "not a person"), repeately called for people to engage in bioterrorism (COVID-19, Donald Trump, Greg Abbott), among other blatant TOS violations, Bob's Twitter feeds go up in a poof of noxious cloud of flatulence with the click of a mouse.

The third: Twitter dies for any reason.

If anyone's taking bets on any of these situations ever happening, I'm slappin' a fiver on the table for "Moviebob gets sued for libel".
Bob is too small and insignificant to sue for libel. What would you even get out of it? Pabst beer cans? Mountain dew chicken? His 2010 computer rig? Nobody's going to sue him for libel. My hypothetical smart money is on Twitter dying before Bob (not likely.)

Can you guys point me to the tweet in which Bobby said someone should murder members of SCOTUS? All I found is him giving short shrift to the threats on Justice Kavanaugh's life, and that was related to the Alito leak, rather than the Dobbs ruling per se.
I need this info for a special project (which will go public really soon).

Bobby just mentioned the age gap of American politicos Here is some more info and discussion. Bobby repeats his belief that young liberals have gone for greener pastures (i.e. grifting) just because they could.

Let me just archive these tweets in which Bobby says he intends to blackmail Supreme Court Justices (or even conservative law students) and worse.

Let's don't think too much about how Bobby is supposed to mobilize enough power to "bully the pulpit", because he hasn't thought much about it either.

Honestly, you could probably convince a five-year-old to do it if you talk about how happy people would be if they did. For Bob that'd just be another reason not to.

I agree the MCU peaked and IMO it was with Endgame. Opinions aside of the film critically and financially this was the MCU Zenith.

I also still maintain there was never a MCU Golden Age Phase 1 was good, but Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, and Thor were all mediocre. Yeah they built to Avengers but building to something doesn't mean good. The Star Wars Prequels built up to Revenge of the Sith, but that doesn't make that trilogy good.

The fact that the MCU never had a Golden Age is also why Blobby's determination to put the franchise on a pedestal as the new modern mythology is laughable.

> one of the world's most accomplished storytellers

OK, I understand why you're saying that but... no. Still, it does mean there's a potential way for Bobby to argue against their claim successfully. Let's see how he fails:

> This franchise is toast.... It isn't 'Star Wars' or Marvel/DC.

Daaaaaamn, best laugh I've had all week.

... is it just me or does this look like a picture someone photoshopped someone else's face onto?

For all non-burgers, Biden has no power or authority to change the filibuster. The filibuster is used by Congress. Congress is the legislative branch of the federal government. The president is the head of the executive branch. He cannot issue an executive order on how Congress runs itself. That's called checks and balances. Biden can say he supports ending the filibuster all he wants but it basically means jack. It's political grandstanding. Congress has to nuke it and they don't have the votes, even with people like cuck Romney and Liz Cheney flipping. These dumbasses had since the 70's to codify Roe, a ruling that even Ruth Bader Ginsberg herself called bad, and they all continued to do nothing but steal my money, pass and renew the Patriot act, and diddle kids.

They couldn't boil the proverbial frog fast enough to get those votes through. Even when the Dems had a supermajority, getting that shit done was a messy prospect. Go look back in time, not even Obama or Biden were for codifying abortion to the extreme that Bob and his ilk desire.

And getting rid of the filibuster now would be quite the error considering the upcoming midterm elections and how Biden's already being declared worse than Carter.

It's funny how they tweet stuff like this but also spend so much time raging at Manchin, Sinema and anyone else who breaks off proving they don't actually have 50 lockstep votes to do whatever they want.

Why is he arguing for what's already common as if it's not? Clinton picked Gore, Obama picked Biden and Trump picked Pence for these reasons. Hillary didn't pick Tim Kaine to setup a successor, nor did John Kerry or Al Gore do so with their picks even if Kerry regretted picking Edwards. Biden picked Kamala to shore up his left base, pick someone younger since he was old and because he had promised to pick a woman and there wasn't anyone else left, it's the same kind of gambit that McCain made with Palin but Bob's acting like these are normal rather than outliers that had a lot to do with the age of the top of the ticket.

Lo, time does not quell the lust of the Blob for his dubiously-aged queer waifus. Let us turn our minds back to the Yuletide, six months ago by Farms time but originally a year and a half ago on Twitter. (Tir na nOg they ain't.)
And it's even the same damn picture! A picture so good it inspired me to say Is this a Make A Wish thing? Because in the "boy or girl" metric my meter came up "preteen cancer patient" and dangerhair is still using it over a year later. Nothing better, huh?
