This belief that disruption is a good thing is the same lazy bad-idea that people who somehow still believe in the "military industrial complex" keep putting forth: capitalist countries have an incentive to go to war because there's money to be made in selling arms... ignoring the offsetting costs of, having your infrastructure destroyed and your workforce idled at best and killed off at worst, and every single industry and business that makes something other than guns having their shit interrupted. They'd be surprised to know that only about 3 to 5 percent of your average "modern" nation's GDP is directly spent on defense, the majority of it goes to OTHER things, for a reason. Even at the height of the Cold War, I don't think the US or the USSR even got close to TEN percent.... and that was back when Reagan was practically cutting blank checks.

So I don't buy the similarly lazy arguments that somehow, big business is sewing racial inequality because it MUST pay off somehow....

Matey Potatey's wrapped himself up in with with a crowd of people who are basically Maoists. This is a particularly disruptive form of socialism (now given a cultural edge) which asserts society requires a constant state of revolution and change.
