Spoiler: Can't Stump The Trump

I wrote another post but it occurred to me that this fucking gif summarizes Bob's philosophy. This is what Bob is espousing. Bob would love this gif because it's Trump beating up on low paid, lower-middle-class white men with entertainment gig jobs. He doesnt understand the reason they relate to Trump in any way. They love Trump BECAUSE of this shit, not in spite of it. They see Trump doing a low-paying gig job, maybe for fun, maybe for a lot of money, maybe because he's bored. But he's one of them.

Bob would see it as Trump being some mastermind economist playing chess four turns ahead of everybody else, manipulating the brainwashed midwestern WWE-watching states into thinking he's a tough guy or something; maybe he's only shoving that guy over for money, maybe he's REALLY shoving that guy over and it's not just acting like every other wrestling thing would be and Trump's REALLY that much of an asshole to randomly jump up on stage and fight a dude. Bob really can't relate to anything.

Did you ever watch the video where he actually addresses that? He did so on at least two separate occasions -- I can't point you to the specific videos because I avoid Bob videos like they were a plate of bad clams, but they were both part of Sargon of Akkad's video going after him. In one he makes the absurd claim that fighting against Jack Thompson actually went too far and now gamers have to grapple with the legitimate criticisms that were raised at the time (I guess politically motivated pseudoscience is kosher when it comes from an SJW); in the other, he pretends the big difference is that Jack Thompson was a right wing saboteur while Anita Sarkeesian just made some YouTube videos. You may notice that's not a terribly meaningful distinction. Intellectual dishonesty is pretty much Bob's defining trait, apart from the nigh incoherent rage that leads to sounding like a Sonderkommando.
