All the stories going around about restricted mode are, not surprisingly, full of shit. Restricted mode blocks pretty much all of YouTube. It doesn't just target SJW crowds. To put it in TV terms, it blocks (or is supposed to) anything that would be rated above Y7. Since it is an automated process, a lot of videos slip through the cracks. It's also something that you can disable just by clicking on. Parents can set a password option for the account, but that isn't on by default. It mostly seems to be an option for parents/schools that want to restrict viewing for obvious reasons. Even a complete moron could get around it at home by just making their own YouTube account, or hell, just signing out of the restricted account and then searching for whatever they want.

Not sure if Blob covered any of that in his video because I don't hate myself enough to try and listen to him, but I'm assuming it's just like all the other reports out there regarding restricted mode.

Super Mario and Captain N cartoons are cool if you're 5 or 6 in 1989....but you shouldn't be looking back at them with great fondness in your fucking 30's.
