Superior Future is a trope level concept as old as politics itself. It's most notably used by the Fascism/Authoritarian branch where it becomes a battlecry to rouse the uneducated masses into action. At its core it's a "end justify the means" arguement to get people to first accept the radical changes they want to drive through, and then get them to ignore the shitty things they have to endure at their hands.

Only, it's rarely ever called "Superior Future" straight out. Because even politicians know regular people aren't that stupid they won't recognise such balant post-truth propaganda.
