How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

He's saying Wondy needs to be judged on two things, how good of a film it is and how many "empowering" gifs people can make for little girls whatever that means. IMO a Wonder Woman film should be more than how many girl power slogans you can fit and help establish her outside of the rut people like Bobby toss her in because of her vagina but what do I know? I've read way too many comics to get this superior future thinking.
So he will rate an objectively shitty film highly if people make enough "inspirational" memes of it?
In this case he probably thinks Shia LeBoeuf is the greatest actor ever lived.

People usually place more value on how feminist Diana is over if her character is any good. Not that it came out of thin air, her creator was a crazy feminist guy who coincidentally also liked ranting about his superior future ideas. He thought machines eventually taking over for manual labor will render men irrelevant revealing women as a master race. Unlike Bob, he was a successful man who invented the lie detector and had a wife and mistress at home. Any fetishy thing you see in WW media is probably one of those three's fetishes.

You know if Wonder Woman fanboys and shills would just be honest and admit that they just want to see a scantily clad Gal Gadot sweatily wrestle with and tie up a cheetah lady like the rest of us do, it'd make the propaganda easier to swallow.

He Will Not Divide Us is a fascinating study of a broken man descending ever deeper into madness. That's much for defensible than most of Bob's other positions.

What kind of propaganda though? Sure, Wondy was made by a "feminist" but I imagine they'd be less than thrilled with his brand of it. William Marston thought if we only had amazonian women fucking the shit out of men (and women) no one would want to commit crimes anymore. Unless you're talking about the movie and I'm sperging too much.

Not even that: he simply dismisses his critics with haughty one-liners, something in the line of "not one of these again!" or "people have too much time on the hands", -- retorts that he wishes he had inflicted on his bullies at school.

Meanwhile, even the Inferior Past rejects him:

Karma is a bitch isn't it?
Well Bob, it's down to one of two decisions- Either buy from a scalper on eBay, or go on a 20 minute long rant about how Nintendo is ruining the economy.

And knowing Bob, he's going to lean toward the latter.

Oh, I was just talking about Bob and the spin the movie's SJW enablers will deliver to us. I have no opinion on whether the movie will be any good or not (although DC Films's track record isn't encouraging), but as for Wondy herself I have no problem with her. DC didn't go quite as far down the identity politics rabbit hole as Marvel did, after all ... and the early stuff Marston wrote is hilariously "problematic" even for normies.

He reviews movies as a fanboy and not as a critic. I understand he's not big on Red Letter Media (I've never heard or read any of his takes on them, so I don't know for sure), and if you look at a comparison of their reviews and his the difference is immediate. Those guys understand film as an art form and as a craft; on any given episode of Best of the Worst they can spot boom mikes, crappy angles, issues with color temperatures, you name it. Bob's perspective is way more limited than that: is it a good comic book movie? Do the dudebros like it? How can he shoehorn his idiot politics into it?

(One of the most blessedly wonderful things about RLM is that 99% of the time they avoid politics completely.)

There's nothing wrong with fanboy reviews per se. But when a fanboy pretends he's not just a fanboy but a superior lifeform who can openly sneer at everyone who even mildly disagrees with him ... well, you get Bob. And I end up feeling like Jay Sherman talking to Duke Phillips about the Dryer Channel.

"People watch this?"
"Watch it? They send money to it!"
99% of the time, people who are knowledgeable about media and who I enjoy listening to their thoughts on it suck at discussing politics. The opposite holds true for political pundits I enjoy. Bob sucks at both.

As if Bob gave a shit about France or anywhere outside the U.S. until his SJW overlords told him to.

What would it take for Bob to change his views? Would he jump to whatever the next form of mainstream liberalism is and abandon things like identity politics as if he never brought it up (can't see this as having always been a thing for him)? Is he going all the way to the grave fixated on this failed incarnation of the Democrats?

Didn't people mock Bush's 'Axis of Evil' deal as warmongering nonsense, or am I wrong? If so, that's funny as fuck if they're using the same terminology.

At the time, it was nonsense. Iraq and Iran hated each other, and North Korea had given weapons and training to Iran in the war against Iraq in the 1980s, leading to Iraq cutting off diplomatic relations. The three nations only started to come together after the 2003 invasion, when the new Iraqi government restored relations with Iran and North Korea, at which point they were no longer supposed to be evil.
