How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

That's not new. Bob threw a fit when the 19th season aired. His tantrum was large enough that the New York Post included it in a report on SJW reactions to the 19th season.

He was lucky to escape with his life after his blood pressure soared. It was his closest brush with death since the console wars.

I should have been more clear: From what I know, he only cancelled for one night after Trump was elected. Still, how much of a pussy do you have to be that a president being elected prevents you from talking about naked men in Florida?

The worst part is that THAT is all his show has devolved into - whining about Florida and the people who live there. I swear, if he insane enough, he'd entertain the (godawful) idea of nuking the place, as if it were Best Korea (NK), or some shite like that.

Seriously, if Nash continued his show and branched out to see that there's more to stupidity in the world than one stupid US state, his show would have a lot more fucking substance, IMHO. And yes, I KNOW this is :off-topic: - this is just one more guy I'd like to see get a lolcow page on, besides like how Blob has here, thank you very much!

Bob doesnt like South park because it's bipartisan in it's disaste for politicians and has a liberatarian streek. Its also doesnt help that Series 19 is a subtle deconstruction of Bob's "superior Future", although that might go over Bob's head since he takes cartman at face value.

Bob seems to neglect the fact that "smart billionaires" like Zuck and Jeff Bezos also treat their employees like shit. Facebook is, by all reports I've heard, a pretty miserable place to work nowadays as a software engineer, and the stories about how much it sucks working in both Amazon's engineering department and their warehouses are pretty common at this point.

But keep putting these dickbags on a pedestal, whatever.

Ahem. Rand.

Even though the whole point of Cartman is he's absolutely despicable with no redeeming features whatsoever.

Also there's an episode where Cartman becomes a social justice warrior after realizing that large parts of society will allow you to act like a narcissistic sociopath with no consequences as long as you spout politically correct rhetoric. That really must have chapped Bob's hide.

I'm going to need to blaze some weed to forget that this particular cow crossover ever happened.

Points for getting this in as the first post on the 420th page.

420 pages on Bob Chipman?! We're all crazy.

These tweets make me sad. They remind me that Moviebob's retardation isn't alone in this world.

I'd say that Bob was realising that it isn't so nice when the proverbial shoe is on the other foot, but I suppose that analogy doesn't really apply to Bob 'Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Mario' Chipman.

Bob has nothing to fear from that, soon enough he won't have any feet to fit that shoe onto.

Horray for 420 pounds.... err, pages of Movie Blob.

Right, I totally believe that's what he meant. Even still, that's a terrible fucking excuse for his exceptional writing.

Just so we're clear, this is the passage he's trying to defend (I assume, anyway ... I'm not slogging through that hot mess to find more choice quotes):

"But the climactic reveal of SMB3 is burned - no, seared - into my memory the way JFK’s assassination was for my parents’ generation... or the way 9/11 would be for mine a scant 12 years from then…"

I'm sorry, you can talk about "juxtaposition" all you want, but there's no way to interpret that other than as the emotional weather of a profoundly maladjusted individual with absolutely no sense of perspective.

Every American old enough to comprehend death and bad things has their memory of where they where and whatever dumb shit they were doing when the twin towers fell. Kenny Chesney or whoever wrote a fucking song about it.

Even if this dumbass was trying to make a comparison of the graviy of events its like trying to compare Kristalnacht to the time your mom got you the wrong flavor ice cream cake for your 8th birthdsy and it ruined everything.

Ones an event people the world over remember or know of because it was an important or far reaching event that would effect pretty much everybody alive and shape the world, global and national politics, and the course of the future, the other is a personal overreaction to a benign global release of a product for a relatively small market at the time. If you asked anybody alive at the time who JFK was, theyd have an answer. If you asked anybody who Mario was, youd have a range from "Mario who? Which Mario, I know a buncha Italians!" To "Who's Mario?" And maybe only 10 percent would be say "Oh you mean Super Mario!?"

I had some more thoughts besides these obvious criticisms but its just so stupid, they got away from me sice I got dumber even trying to comprehend how this dude thought he could write that without it being embarrassing or how he thought he could defend it as a train of thought. Its pretty fucking offensive to the people who died, at best, I thought you were liberal Bob? Or does it not matter since they may have been white men?

You know, this is probably unfair because Bob is a few years younger than I am, but I was a big gamer as a kid too, and there is not one moment from pop culture, video game-related or otherwise, that measures up to the impact of experiencing the Challenger disaster. And I didn't even watch it live -- just had the shellshocked teacher describe it to us during lunch hour. So even his weak beer argument that he was just comparing impact on a child versus impact on an adult is horseshit, because even a child has to cope with horrible mind-bending incidents every now and again.
