Forget Breaking Bad. I don't even know how these morons process Star Wars or Harry Potter or the rest of the shit they claim they like. Because even in those things where the heroes are heroic bad things still happen to the good guys, which usually makes them all freak the fuck out. It seems like all these people want is a TV show where every episode is just 45 minutes of a small, cute, tuff brown gurl smashing her way through hordes of faceless bad guys without any kind of humanity or tension. Then at the end of the season she kisses the other small, cute, tuff brown gurl.

Children's media has the ability to indoctrinate people when they're young, whereas more adult-themed shows are for people who are capable of making their own decisions, and thus don't need to handhold their audience as much (not to say it doesn't happen).

Yep and pretty much established the modern concept of nations as we know it today. Before this borders of a nation were more like... suggestions. That was the start of codifying them.

So one could say back in the 1640s nations were the "superior future."

I actually would read Bob's blog way back before he would ever start doing videos. (Yes, I have been enjoying this thread since page 15 because of that.) Part of why I was quit was because of stuff like the above. He would be on a point that was alllllllllmost right, then zoom off into insanity.

Now he's gotten worse.

Like above. Yeah, back during the baby boomer era, around the 50s-70s? He's right, it was an unfair era. Only not because of racism*, but because of a little thing called WORLD WAR TWO. When your nation is the only one left with a manufacturing base while everybody's is blown to hell, you're going to enjoy a bit of an economic advantage until everybody else rebuilds and their workers grow out of diapers. (It also helped that a few who escaped the war then decided to destroy their manufacturing by communism.) Also, most of the USA's competition back then would have been other white and oriental nations.

*Well ok, there was racism back then but blacks were still improving economically at the time as well. If he wants to talk about policies propping up the white man against a black competitor let's see him address ye olde minimum wage laws and union contracts.

This is why it is always wise to keep your trap shut about your political beliefs, unless your job pertains to it. You are going to isolate potential audience members and furthermore, you could cultivate a truly toxic fanbase that might eat you alive once you do something against what they like.

I'm always baffled by SJWs' fetishization of "diversity", as if it were a moral imperative. Ok, you may argue that diversity leads to a proliferation of viewpoints which we can learn from, but this contradicts with another obsession of SJWs -- cultural appropriation. You can observe all the diverse, international cultures "in the best places of the US", but if you make use of their ideas you're damned to SJW hell. On the other hand, pee o'sees can never make use of whities culture because there is literally none; all whities have is money, which of course pee o' sees deserve a share automatically -- but if it is money they want we don't have to let them into the First World: why not just leave them in their shithole countries and pump international aids there?

Don't forget Mario games frequently use the damsel in distress trope which is a SJW no no. I always wondered how Bob deals with a franchise he likes being so problematic to his ideology.
