That doesn't work as well when you're the embodiment of establishment and you love bringing up your authority. Bob has made similar arguments about you being a brain dead fool for not listening to your leaders as gospel (as long as Democrat, being liberal opitional) even when what they're talking about is something they have no knowledge in either. Now there's some authoritarism. This narrative has been in the news for awhile though where anyone who contradicts them are just trying to confuse the masses and make them question if logic is real which will make us into angry divisive mobs at each other's throats. Part of me questions if there's a shared script or the more likely they're huffing each other's shit.
