The entire point of Don Quixote is that Don is a complete idiot way out of his depth. If anything, the book shows what happens if you hang onto ideals that only exist in fiction.

As entertaining as that idea is, I'd be careful about making threads about Marvel Entertainment employees as they live off negative press. Of course you could say the same about every other "contrarian for the sake of it" idiots we cover. There's precedent with us having a Kate Leth thread though.
Superman is...alien to people who can't get the idea of someone doing good without a selfish motive or think optimism means being a sheep. I think some of the people who suggest rape and conquest as being more "real" are projecting. That's part of the point with Lex Luthor being a negative parallel of Superman's worldview that can't understand someone not having a monster in their head that wants to exploit people and rain death on their enemies.
