Sure. In a way.
Bob, HOW are we at all close to removing a "geographic need for food mass-production", whatever the fuck that means? Do you mean that we soon won't be limited by soil status, weather and temperature conditions and the like? Because the main issue is space, always has been. Slight powerlevel here, but I live in rural Australia, and my job is food production. If you don't know what budding is, you most likely don't care so I won't go into it. But our company goes all around the nation working on farms and making plants grow the right kind of fruit or vegetables. We've even worked a few months in California, believe it or not. I doubt Bob knows every single fucking thing he eats that isn't an animal or made of sugar was once a budded tree, so I doubt he'd realize this simple truth either.

Farming communities don't choose to build cornfields and apple orchards instead of high-rises and banks because they like the natural look. It's because you need a fuckbillion acres of land to grow food. Thousands of thousands of acres of land, worked and cultivated obsessively. Last year I was personally responsible for 1.5 million trees producing food, and each of my coworkers still did more than me. We each walked a larger surface area than New York City, and the job was still split 7 ways. And Australia only has 24.13 million people to the US's 323 million, with almost the same area when you discount Alaska. I'm no math scientist but the way that works out in my head is that the US would, ergo, need a lot more food production in a similar sized space.

Bob, buddy, even if we could grow food at ten times the efficiency that we could now, the fact remains that we'd still be in a food crisis worldwide. You seem to have completely forgotten that people below the line of middle-class white Americans are starving right now, and those people should be the first to reap the benefits of increased foot output. Your Superior Future doesn't account for them, of course, because you only care about destroying your enemies rather than uplifting your so-called allies. You have, and for the first time in my life I'm using this unironically, a disgusting amount of privilege. If you think that the only thing holding back your glorious future is that we're using too much space ensuring people like you can stuff themselves and grow fat while millions starve, and that once we bulldoze the wheat fields for performance art pieces we'll have a utopia, you're even more naive and ridiculous than I thought.

Hanson has written on the topic extensively. I recommend googling Victor Davis Hanson + California and just start reading. But this piece, on the recent drought, is a good example:

https://www.city-journal.org/html/engineered-drought-11548.html

Or do a search for him + california on youtube. Ton of stuff like...

Bob is also bad at math as just because CA is #1 doesn't mean it's producing 51% of the food. It just means it's the most out of a crowded field. You can't afford to lose the other states and keep new york fed, much less Bob over a weekend.

Not to mention demand keeps growing for meat/livestock, especially from developing countries - http://www.who.int/nutrition/topics/3_foodconsumption/en/index4.html

Speaking about what Victor Hanson spoke about, has anyone ever told Bob about the severe disparity of wealth that exists in such states as California or even Massachusetts that is in some cases truly staggering.

It's like he genuinely thinks the DNC is Jesus Christ. Only a fucking lunatic like Bob "Moon Wheat" Chipman could have so much faith in a political party.
It's more common than you think.

A man named Harvey Silverglate has a video on Youtube called the Harvard Bait and Switch where he describes how people like Bob infiltrated educational institutions and pushed out their conservative colleagues. Fast forward a few decades and you have ingrained elitists (the kind Bob worships) telling people that they're the enlightened ones and that anyone who disagrees with them are ignorant troglodytes.

Honestly, I don't consider Bob to be the extreme of liberalism. Rather I think he jumped the gun by calling people troglodytes and mayonnaise ghouls as soon as he has. Give it a few years and the DNC zealots will be echoing his sentiments.

Bob is simply an Authoritarian and the byproduct of someone that grew in a one party state. I am certain that in some alternative universe that Bob grew up in Mississippi where he hates the niggers, spics, and gooks. For a person that rails on so much about diversity, he should consider the diversity of thought to be critical because without a proper and strong feedback from an equally educated opponent, then you are just going to get echos back, and echos don't help you grow in the least.

I know this is rather off topic and going into :autism: territory, but I am honestly wondering if Bob would be for gatekeeping higher education from poor whites, especially straight white males who are starting to need dire assistance in current trends continue?

If he knew, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't care. He'd make mouth noises about caring, of course, but in his black, fat-choked heart he's a crony to the elites and would try to justify them straight-up firebombing poor neighborhoods if he thought it would save his lard-swollen mass from being hit in the next salvo.

You someone that holds up California up as a beacon of knowledge and the "superior future" would take a look at the grim reality where you have a near two-tier education system with highly educated-college liberals contrasted with barely high school educated people that are mostly minorities and think, well shit this doesn't look like a potential looming disaster? Then again, he wouldn't be beetus riddled Blob if he had self-reflection.

After all the #GamerGate nonsense, a lot of journalists revealed their true selves. He didn't. He was always the sperg king of the film journalism community. If you don't know who the guy is, Pic Related should give you most info needed. He likes Super Mario Bros 3 a lot. So much he wrote a book on it. Here's a PDF of it if your heart so desires to how spergy movieblob is. https://mega.co.nz/#!QZZ1mASI!ZwPFuqgJR73vK35Eyx_92JKHC1G60fsBOQnl-T3Z9hM
Here's an excerpt from his book.

He also compares the console wars to vietnam and is heartbroken to find out mayrio isnt from brooklyn.
All due respect to the original poster, but I don't think that this OP does the Moviebob' insanity any justice. The words "Moon Wheat" or "Superior Future" aren't even mentioned..

Anyone up for a rewrite? IMO, it doesn't even match up to the insanity of the last 2 pages alone.

I am willing to assist in the making of a new OP if necessary.

To be fair, at the time, Bob was just a slightly more vocal anti-GG sperg. He'd gone of the deep end, but hadn't sunk to the abyssal plain yet.

That said, the OP is in desperate need of a rewrite, or at least an update. The lolcow wiki page with some work could probably be repurposed as an updated OP, but even that needs some work.

I have a busy week, but I'll try to whip up something in the weekend. Where should I submit it after that?

In the 1930s, agricultural overproduction in the US was such a massive problem that the government destroyed enormous amounts of food to raise prices and try to end the Depression. Even today, with many subsidies in place to support farmers, the country is still the biggest agricultural exporter in the world. Poor Americans aren't starving, unless they're literally homeless. Chris got fat off his tugboat.

Australia isn't like the US because a lot of the Midwest like Iowa and Nebraska is extremely fertile arable land, while the Australian interior is mostly barren desert only good for grazing, if that. The amount of usable land is what matters, not the total land area.

The main reason that famines happen at all is because conflict or poor government policies disrupt agriculture and food distribution. The current famine in South Sudan was caused by their ongoing civil war. The world as a whole can easily produce far more food than anyone could ever need, which is why obesity is an increasing problem even in places like Mexico.

I'm not aware of any political party that has cured diseases and "unleashed personal happiness" (whatever that means), but then I'm not living in Mushroom Kingdom.

Well, then you haven't heard about what the Democrats had planned. If Hillary had become president, the Democrats would be well on their way to curing every disease known to man and uplifting everyone out of poverty, giving them beach-side mansions. But then inferior America decided to ruin all of that and elect Trump. And Bob is there to tell us about how this all would have happened and to enlighten those who happen across his Twitter feed, bringing to light the evils of the Trump regime.

Bob is ranting about white privilege again?Just how much white privilege do folks in West Virginia have?I'm curious.Or to make things more interesting just how much privilege did Bob have growing up considering he claims to have been bullied in school. The dumbest thing possible having a fat diabetic claim to have privilege.I don't think Bob understands what real privilege is.

Privilege is not having to work at all while sneering contemptuously down your nose at the people lower than you who have to worry about their "jerbs" because their families will go hungry without them.

>He thinks poor people are human
What are you, some kind of conservative or should I say NATIONAL SOCIALIST, friendo? Educate yourself with some classics of liberalism such as the works of Ayn Rand or the Super Mario Brothers Super Show or Disney's Marvel's Star Wars's Avengers's "I'm a Nigger".

Bob, you're the "mayonnaise ghoul". Also how can you believe this was all backlash against Obama being (half) black? Where's the continuity?

"Mayonnaise ghoul" is a great slur from a guy who looks like he eats pure mayonnaise by the industrial size container and has fish-belly white skin that no redneck has.
