I like how "Alright, you win. They ARE human but they shouldn't be treated as such." is an improvement to him instead not being much better.
He's done this before when he suggested DCEU Batman should be more lighthearted and introduce Robin (presumably Dick) despite Batman v Superman, the movie he claim to have watched over a 100 times to pull apart, being heavy with implying Bruce's falling out with someone and the death of Jason Todd leading to his jaded attitude in the film. If Bob did notice that some time since then he's probably assuming the whole movie will be about the falling out....which already happened.

What? Isn't theme the product of the plot? And he's doing the "like I care, nerd!" thing?
The only time I can think of where theme takes piority is like bad PSA cartoons where kids fight tooth decay monsters as part of a metaphor that quickly falls apart if you think about anything. Why would you openly say that plot doesn't matter as long as the message is right? You're supposed to be a critic.

It tells you a lot about Bob's mindset. Bob would unironically watch and praise a cartoon or movie that was as heavy-handed and preachy about social justice as Captain Planet was about environmentalism. Especially if you decided to go mutilate an existing property like, say, Star Wars (and if people say Disney Star Wars are SJW now, they'd look like MRA/alt-right propaganda compared to this hypothetical Star Wars movie). This presumably applies to other things Bob likes as well in terms of themes. It's likely the reason that all of Bob's film pitches are utter garbage.
This likely means that in Bob's superior future, there would be no movies (or any other media) allowed which aren't propaganda films.

Has it been confirmed that the Gotham City Sirens movie has been cancelled?
Edit: So after doing some research, it seems that, right now, future DCEU movies featuring Harley Quinn include a Suicide Squad sequel, a Harley vs. Joker movie, and a Birds of Prey movie. Like most of the American news media, Bob only reports half of the story and leaves out the parts that would nullify his narrative. With these movie projects, DC brings female characters like Huntress, Black Canary, and Batgirl to the big screen while Harley Quinn Katana, and Amanda Waller make a return. And who is to say Poison Ivy and/or Catwoman won't be referenced or mentioned in this movies (or appear in a mid/post-credit scene)?
