Why doesn't he like being called Bob though? That's something that's never made sense to me. He'll put his real name on everything he produces and on all his social media accounts, but actually being called it be someone causes him to go nuts?
I'm not sure why, but he did tweet this once.

It wouldn't surprise me if Bob was deranged enough to think he was famous.

If I remember, Bob said it was a "power play" or something, immediately trying to take over the conversation and putting the other person on the defensive. I guess calling Bob by his actual name that he uses all the time is a micro aggression.

I bet he feels like he's being yelled at by his parents any time someone calls him Bob.
Funny for someone who's go to put down is 'friendo'

Bob should. Stop. Talking. About. Comics. As said before, the reason why the All-New, All-Different X-Men worked was because the X-Men were a dead property at the time as well craftsmanship of Len Wein (who wrote their introduction in "Deadly Genesis"), Chris Claremont as well as Dave Cockrum and John Byrne. It should be worth nothing that much of that run happened under Jim Shooter's tenure as editor-in-chief and it was Shooter who handed down the order that Jean Grey die in "The Dark Phoenix Saga." Despite the man's reputation, Shooter was very focused on story and the business side of comic books and Marvel Comics flourished in a way not seen since the days of Stan and Jack.

Fans love Storm, Rogue, and Kitty Pryde (to name a few) because they were fleshed out characters fans that loved. Storm carried a regal air because she was a freaking goddess in Kenya who grew into a natural leader when Cyclops left the team. Similarly, Claremont and future writers gave Rogue a great deal of pathos because of the nature of her mutation and despite that, she was a fun character in the animated series. Bob cannot understand this because they are not characters to, but extensions of his own ideology meant to espouse his beliefs. Take a look at Iceman, who Bendis turned into a gay character (in the least convincing way possible by making it look like Teen Jean used "reverse" conversion therapy on him) for no real reason other than to make the character "relevant" though the X-Men have had LGBT characters on their team like Northstar, Karma, Rictor, and Shatterstar.

Yeah, I know Rictor and Shatterstar were X-Force/X-Factor and Karma is associated with the New Mutants, but it was not like the X-Men mythos were hurting for LGBT characters.

Yeah, I know Rictor and Shatterstar were X-Force/X-Factor and Karma is associated with the New Mutants, but it was not like the X-Men mythos were hurting for LGBT characters.

Even Rictor got retconned to be gay, when his early appearances have him being very much thinking sexually about girls, but Iceman is a much worse example, since Rictor at least never had a mini series about being so infatuated with a woman he fell through time trying to make sure she was okay. Karma and Shatterstar were basically blank slates, and Northstar was revealed as gay very early on for him.
But even then, they're not the only ones. Though Storm seems to mostly prefer men, she has fallen in love with women, Yuriko most notably, and Shadowcat and Rachel Summers Phoenix were always written with unspoken sexual tension. None of this was BUT YOU'RE GAY shit tier writing, and it all feels a hell of a lot more natural for it.
Hell, the alternate universe where Wolverine and Hercules are Gay and run the canadian empire feels more true to their existing characters than BUT YOU'RE GAY, BOBBY.

I played this game with a meatbag once. Everybody go look up laws against cloning.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_cloning
Europe, canada, australia? All ban cloning. USA?

"There are currently no federal laws in the United States which ban cloning completely, and any such laws would raise difficult constitutional questions similar to the issues raised by abortion.[citation needed]Fifteen American states (Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Iowa, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, North Dakota, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia) ban reproductive cloning and three states (Arizona, Maryland, and Missouri) prohibit use of public funds for such activities."

LESS THAN HALF THE STATES BAN IT. Remeber: Bob is always wrong.

People today are not more bigoted than they were in the 70s (if anything they're less so). The difference is that back then Marvel hired writers like Chirs Claremont and Peter David who were more capable of weaving politics and philosophy into their work in an organic fashion that didn't detract from the story being told.

Now what makes you think modern comic writing sucks?

He'd never be a high-ranking official. He's too stupid and too much of a loudmouth. He'd more likely be one of the faceless thugs manning the execution wagons -- the kind who actually get off to the physical violence.
You're being too generous, Bob will be the one being dragged to a gulag on a triple-size wagon while screaming "But I thought your future was Superior!! I believed!!!"

He'd try to justify it by saying that only inferior middle states banned cloning, but then his brain would explode when he realizes that some of his superior coastal states banned it too.

(sorry, couldn't find a version with his original "i believe in the dominion!" line)

Specifically both his beloved California and his very own home State of Massachusetts banned it. A 30 second visit to Wikipedia blows his entire position out of the water.

I finally understand the reason behind Bob's hilariously black and white view on morality. All this shit and I finally get it.

Bob thinks he is a superhero.

He's consumed so much Marvel media it has warped his mind into thinking he is an infallible good guy superhero. This is why he gets upset over morally gray stories, especially in superhero movies. Because if a superhero can do bad things he might have to confront the fact that he himself is a terrible person. It makes too much sense. What an autist. :story:

"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility", therefore the Big White Father Washington has the responsibility of saving the citizens of the rest of the world, whether that's the right thing or not.
