I wouldn't say Bob hates America outright so much as he loves his America and hates our America. If that makes any sense. His America is a land of Hollywood capeshit and various other examples of ahem "Culture". It is also always the leader in the Superior Future despite the Superior Future being a One World Government. Our America OTOH is a "Culture less" land of backwards superstition and jerbs. This all divorced from reality of course but thats Bob for you.

I'd be careful crapping on Boston. Lot of history there (which is also true of Philadelphia, but then again, they're home to the Eagles, so history is not an indicator of class). If you really want to get Bob's goat, point out Beantown's infamous racism -- or if you want to bring NYC into it (god I love Bob's obvious NYC envy), mention the Draft Riots and how many blacks were lynched during them.
