I could ALMOST appreciate this sentiment because many people wish they could "go back" to the simplicity childhood. However, as so many have noted: Bob has not intellectually, nor emotionally developed since High School at the very latest and that is giving him more credit than he is due. He views Nintendo, Marvel, and Hillary *fucking* Clinton as critically as a 5-year-old does the existence of Santa Claus. Arguing with Bob is like arguing with a toddler.

You know what Bob could really use? And I'm proposing this simply because I know it's not going to change Bob, but because I think it would be hilarious for all of us to witness: he needs to have a "Father Call" with somebody. He needs to sit down with somebody that he actually wants to impress and connect with, and that person just needs to rip Bob a new asshole in a structured way. They would confront Bob on all his bullshit, all his flaws as a human being and all the double standards he holds in a conversation that should go on for at least a few hours.

Like with Chris-Chan, it would likely be the first time that Bob actually experiences an honest evaluation of his life and he would actually have to confront some of the criticisms he avoids dealing with. It would be hilarious to watch, and would make for a great discussion here.
