So I've read the posts about how Bob is a massive MCU fanboy. I've just joined Kiwi Farms by the way, so forgive me for having this be counterproductive. My question is what actually draws Moviebob into the MCU movies? Is it the characters, the mythos, world building, the action, or the humor? I can't figure out why he has a massive love boner to these films. His MCU fetish is more disturbing than Kathy Bates in Misery and its on par with Hollywood's fetish towards Obama.

They're very simple movies, I think he likes the idea that vaguely "political" themes are assigned to them but the vast majority of them have a desegnated "good guy" and the villains who do all but twirl mustaches. My money is on the fact he very likely thinks that he's one of a very few who can identify any of those themes they casually sprinkle in, and feels like a big smart boy for being able to do so "W-wait a minute... is Iron Man subtlety critiquing the arms dealing industry? I think so! Whoa man, I'm so fucking smart, I bet this is flying over everyone elses head..." type shit.

Is my guess, at least. He might simply be a retard who likes watching colorful characters on big screens jumping up and down.

Aside from Black Panther and the two Captain America sequels, none of the MCU are political commentaries. I legitamtely don’t recall having The Avengers, a movie that seriously hasn’t aged well to me, having political commentaries. Though, I did see Bob compare The Avengers to Obama and The Dark Knight Rises to Romney.

Also, none of the MCU movies, aside from the first Iron Man and Guardians, aren’t as good as they were when they were released. Like The Avengers, a movie that seriously hasn’t aged well to me with snarky smug dialogue, shallow writing, generic action scenes, filmmaking and cinematography that looks like a ABC show, and no serious stakes.

You might be on to something there.

You have to remember Bob subscribes to the "Everything is Political" school of stupidity. It doesn't matter if the movies don't have political commentary. His twisted mind will insert it for him.

That’s probably a sign of mental gymnastics honestly. Everytime he and his ilk does this, it ruins the MCU for me and probably everyone else, hence why I’m hoping Infinity War and Avengers 4 turns out to be a critical disaster like Suicide Squad and performing at the box office worse than The Last Knight and Justice League, just to see Moviebob and people like him lose it. Heck I wish they were directed by Michael Bay. Though it won’t happen.

Bobby lives in a small world; childhood entertainment is all that matters to him. Although we've established that he doesn't know squat about comic books, they must have been a big part of his childhood experience, wish fulfillment for a fat, awkward, underachieving dweeb surviving under the shadows of chads and bullies. MCU brought what was a nerdy hobby to mainstream prominence, and to Bobby and his ilk it feels like personal vindication. It doesn't help that the comic branch of Marvel has been producing SJW bullshit for years, which invites SJWs to "read" the films politically -- and "talking deep" about pop culture (the only thing they care) is like a double dose of meth plus Viagra.

This is why he picks MCU though. Every single movie has the pervasive, cliched, semi-pseudo-liberal political stance that Hollywood junk food movies have. They always vaguely don't like the government, while listing no actual reason for this, and portray any kind of government agent who can exert force as evil, while at the same time never directly menacing the sources of their own income.

They don't want to criticize any of the parts of the government that actually support and promote them, though. So it's always just vague, evil government monsters, who always have GUNS! Like the snow-suited monsters at the end of E.T. (before that was edited to soften the criticism completely) who tried to carry him off.

They rarely if ever actually name parts of the government they dislike, nor do they criticize them for any actual policies. They just pander to idiots like Bob the fat fuck.

I actually think people like Bob don’t hate the government if a Democrat is president. I remember people hating Bush for using the Patriot Act but were fine when Obama did it.

As always, he continues missing the fucking point of why Vegeta is popular for a reason.

It is simply because that it is a high school,"My Team is Better than Yours" mentality that has been able to better foment with the advent of places like Twitter. Like it has been said for almost 1100 pages, Bob has the mind of a high school student when it comes to politics and more like a freshmen if anything.

At least there are high school freshmen that know more about politics than Bob.

Honestly the best person Bob should be with that share his political views is Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony. Like Bob, Lauren is a insufferable SJW that rages against Republicans and the middle class for supporting Trump and she definitely has the high school,"My Team is Better than Yours" mentality.

If you want to know what I’m meaning about this, read this and tell me she belongs with Bob.

But what happens if the MCU ends, will he bash it like the X-Men movies or will he keep blowing even after it all ends?

Alright I gotta know at the end of the day, why do people suck up to Bob? Its not like he has the influence or power Wu, Sarkeesian, or any of those others had. Also all of them have a twitter so why go through the middle man to suck up to these people and their ideals?

So basically if you don't agree with him, you're just "naive".

Congratulations, "Canada" is so non-specific that it's meaningless, Seattle is on the West Coast and of course the only thing he'd keep from Austin is a Whattaburger cup.

Maybe he moved, borders are irrelevant after all.

Quelle surprise, stupidity must run in the family.

Alright I gotta know at the end of the day, why do people suck up to Bob?

Because they are even smaller fish than Bob (who more physically resembles humpback whale, but I digress) who are pathetic enough to prostrate themselves to gain the favour of someone they perceive as having influence. They are like mini-Bobs in that regard. While 100K Youtube subscribers is not an insignificant by any means, no media conglomerate executives have his name in their rolodex and I doubt that washed up, two-bit hustlers like the aforementioned Wu and Sarkeesian do either. It astounds me that they cannot see Bob for what he is: a rancid, basement-dwelling cretin, or simply refuse to despite the overwhelming evidence. A reasonable and intelligent person would see it, but one would have to be a exceptional kind of idiot to regard Bob as influential.

One sad fact is he gets a pass because his lunacy is on the left. If he said everything he says today concerning the uselessness of tens of millions of people he hates sight unseen from the right he would be (justifiably!) condemned as a fascist jock-sniffer. I imagine he'd be booted off Twitter fast enough to make your head spin.

What's funny about it is that this pass does his side no help in terms of perception, and Bob is too shitheadedly unselfaware to understand his tirades make for a perfect strawman argument against all the things he champions.

So where in NC has he been? The beach spots and/or the major cities seem to be the places he'll find like-minded people.
