How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Bob's taste in music is something of an enigma. He's been on the record as wanting more poppy end credits songs a la "My Heart Will Go On" and "All The Stars", while also saying that some SNL sketch "redeemed" Nickelback. If I had to guess, he mostly listens to 80s music and soundtracks to movies and old vidya.
I’ve never heard anything about the SNL Nickelback sketch to be honest.

He could like New Jack Swing as well since it’s black music.

Bob doesn't actually give a crap about black people. Black Panther is his lucky charm because it lets his typical Marvel sperging fit right into the what was popular with the SJ circles he sucks up to.

Speaking of Marvel sperging, I wonder how Kevin Feige would respond to Bob’s blind worship of Marvel Studios.

Scared, disgusted, and would facepalm.
I would imagine he would straight up deny Bob a job offer at Marvel Studios. Feige at least isn't as foolish like Bioware, who will regret letting Anita Sarkeesian give them advice on Anthem when they go bankrupt.

I found this interesting article, which refutes Bob's coastal elitism. The crux of it is the conflicts between the middle class and the civic left and this excerpt is of particular interest to me.

Economic trends follow a similar trajectory. Nearly 80 percent of all job growth since 2010 has occurred in suburbs and exurbs (see chart, page 45). Most tech growth takes place not in the urban core, as widely suggested, but in dispersed urban environments, from Silicon Valley to Austin to Raleigh. Despite the much-ballyhooed shift in small executive headquarters to some core cities, the most rapid expansion of professional business-service employment continues to happen largely in low-density metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, Nashville, and Kansas City.

Also of note: that same article mentions that home ownership among Blacks and Hispanics (you know, the people he purportedly champions) is actually higher in the south because they certainly cannot afford a house in San Francisco.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Bioware. They dug their own grave.

Also, am I the only person who would love to see Bob pitch an idea to Marvel? I think that would be so hilariously bad it would provide a discussion for years to come.

And as an aside given his hateboner for anyone who isn't a Democrat:

There's a part of me that loathes the extent of which we deconstruct Moviebob's twitter posts and videos because you know for a fact that he didn't even spend half the time researching the shit the thread does just criticizing him.

Bingo. That's it right there. EVERYTHING you need to know about Bob. "sort of a 'thing' that you'd heard about and 'sort of knew'"

He skated by for awhile without being a serious devotee and now with the internet, it's just so obvious how very little he knows.

For comparison.

Bob: "You should adapt Invincible Iron Man Vol. 3, only it's the United States instead of Latveria that Riri overthrows, and one of the first things she does is institute a policy of disenfranchisement towards the submentals of the flyover states."
Marvel Executive (quietly hitting the panic button to call security): "And she's not supposed to be the villain?"

You're optimistic in assuming he knows what most of that is.

Pretty much. He'd probably just ramble on and off about how Riri should use the suit she got (without him explaining how due to being ignorant and inattentive about her) to ruin the badguy and his demographic, which is a poorly thought out farmer villain. When the executive asks with dread if he means the Scarecrow to keep him talking until security can throw him out, Bob will then scream that this is not a DC crossover since they're mediocre, unaware that Marvel, specifically Ironman, has their own Scarecrow villain.

"How are we handling Riri's origin of stealing the tech to build an Iron Man armor at MIT, Mr. Chipman?"
"STEALING? You're fired for making that racist Obsolete garbage up, friendo. She's so smart that she made her armor before Stark and HE stole it."
"But she'd be around 5 years old then"
"That's how smart she is!"

They'll get security to kick him out when he says that they need to remake The Avengers as a pro-PC propaganda where the characters bitch about their struggles with being black, disabled queer muslims in a Trump-like America and have Loki be a white dudebro.

He seems to be more of a Top 40 type of a guy considering his personality. He probably listens to Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Imagine Dragons.

Speaking of rock, did you guys remember The Avengers 2012 having a Hard Rock soundtrack featuring Soundgarden, Five Finger Death Punch, and Shinedown? Since it's a Hard Rock soundtrack to a MCU movie, I wonder if Bob listened to it or not.
And here I thought Bob just listened to the Mario theme on loop.

I’m guessing he wouldn’t think much of classical music unless an artist covered his Nintendo music probably. The London Symphony Orchestra has made a couple albums matching that descriptions, but they also include music from the dudebro shooter games like Fall Out and Call of Duty, so...

I still can't believe that panel where Riri begs her teacher to oppress her is real.

What makes it worse is that BMB apparently was making Riri for his daughter. Which makes me wonder what his opinion of her is.

Has he commented on Tomb Raider yet? I found the movie actually pretty enjoyable and Lara Croft to be everything Rey should have been.

So I'm guessing Bob will complain about it and call it awful.
