I haven't watched a single Star Wars film post- ROTJ in a theater, but I'm thinking of going to this one just to see if it's the trainwreck I'm hoping it will be. Worst case scenaro is that it's not bad and not crammed with SJW agitprop, but bland enough to not be entertaining in an ironic way either.
I suspect Bob is right when he says it's a light caper film that young'ns will enjoy. If there's anyone who has the mind of a child and who will know what they'll gravitate to, it's Bob.

Bob's mind is strange he's not naturally stupid in terms of logic and analysis, the problem is his entire brain is hardwired toward emotive and he wastes massive amounts of time on that, for example his bizzare defence of the marvel franchise as legitimate movies while condeming the Noland batmans as stupid because he likes brainless pop culture shit emotively. He's like if a brilliant historian dedicated to proving the battle of hastings didnd happen. Massive amounts of thought and energy trying to proving total bollocks.

Another way to hide up his shallow depth of knowledge to film is his lack of brevity in his Really That Good series. He goes on and on about a particular element of a film that is irrelevant to the film and tries to add "depth" to it. This also includes going off topic in tedious fashion, such as spending a minute in part one of his BvS review talking about the possibility of doing a "Really That Good" on The Lord of the Rings.
So it just hit me that how Bob severely lacks an impulse that stops him from doing something stupid. I sometimes wonder if SJWs like him lack the impulse to not say or do anything stupid.
