CareercowRobert Chipman / Bob / Moviebob / "Movieblob" - Middle-Aged Consoomer, CWC with a Thesaurus, Ardent Male Feminist and Superior Futurist, the Twice-Fired, the Mario-Worshipper, publicly dismantled by Hot Dog Girl, now a diabetic
First, he doxes his own ancestor, yet again, while highlighting that he is exactly like every non-Irish Boston Brahmin wannabe in that he cannot stop mentioning it.
Then he completely blows an analogy by confusing Gerald Ford with the guy who played him on an SNL skit.
Man, Bob has do some Olympic-level mental gymnastics to argue that Marvel Studios doesn't have an enforced tone. I mean, the plots have grown predictable and the humour is pretty much uniform. That is not to say that the DCEU does not have a uniform tone as well, but that is mostly because Zach Snyder directed 3/5ths of that universe's films whereas Kevin Fiege pretty much dictates the content of the films and the directors are the equivalent of glorified line supervisors from McDonalds. However, Bob really loves his McNuggets so that doesn't come as a surprise to me.
That said, I personally would not mind if Warner Bros. shifted away from the shared universe model.

It looks to be case after Justice League that the DCEU won't be so interconnected with each movie with the probable exception of building up the next JL movie. This change in direction may benefit them, which would infuriate Bob.

Bob has to be an idiot to not realize that having an enforced tone is the Secret to Marvel’s success at the movies. Of course they have an enforced tone. All Feige did was to apply Stan Lee’s Legendary “Marvel Method” (draconian editorial control and tone enforcement and tight editing not just within the individual projects but the line as a whole) to movie making. And it’s made Billion$. It’s not something anybody need be apologizing for or arguing against. Success is what it is.
I too, had a direct ancestor who came off of the Mayflower. (I like to think he stuck out his foot and tripped Bob's ancestor who, to save face, said that he'd "fallen" off of the boat.)
And calling ICE an "ethnic-cleansing pipeline" takes a lot of chutzpah. If anything, it's the illegals who are "ethnically cleansing" large parts of California and Texas, kicking white (and black) groups out of their neighborhoods and competing with them for jobs.
Believe it or not a few people contemporary to Hogan's Heroes really did find it to be in unbelievable bad taste. I'm not trying to pull an accckshuallly here, I'm just reaching for an excuse to post what the boys over at Mad magazine proposed would be following in Hogan's footsteps, which they dreamed up because some of them were super-offended by the show (and the 1960s Mad crew was not what you'd call PC by any stretch of the imagination).
But this is a nice way to demonstrate that mockery is the best medicine for something that's offensive, not shrieking and bullying and trying to get it pulled off the air / out of print / off the web.
Also, if you thought Hogan's Heroes would rustle Bob's jimmies, just imagine what this would do:
Is Bob's thing about "Neoclassicism=Nazism" or whatever something he took from elsewhere or just his own :autism: at work? He's described it before and it doesn't really have a lot to do with neoclassicism, just "Hitler wasn't a fan of art during the Weimar Republic and preferred traditional heroic tales therefore anyone who doesn't like the current direction of any art is EXACTLY like Adolf." It contradicts his supposed status as a "critic" and I can't tell if he's just copying some other pseudo-intellectual.
How can a cunt who has literally spent hours and even made a career out of bitching about how WB has "ruined" his childhood heroes with the DCEU toss stones? Oh yeah I answered it he's a cunt sorry.

Just put a shock collar on him that gives him an electrical shock whenever he tweets something ignorant, stupid, or just plain assholery. You'd need to replace the batteries frequently, since that's pretty much everything he tweets.
Eh, he'll find some way to blame all of those damn dirty white men for it. And I love how Bob rattles off a bunch of info about Brazil that he immediately looked up on Wikipedia only to be shut down by someone who actually WAS there, then apologize for it. Also, Bob seems to think that certain skin colors are idealized for certain climates (but only if said skin is brown. I guarantee you he has no trouble with Sweden being overrun by sub-Saharan Africans despite the fact that many of them will probably suffer Vitamin D deficiencies due to their skin being unable to absorb enough sunlight in the winter.)
