Funny thing about that is Gunn actually did create Drax in the sense that "autistic warrior alien" has little to do with the source material where he's human and all. There was a point in the 90s where they tried "Space Hulk" but it didn't stick. Rocket and Groot are the only ones who were mostly intact instead of "Let me make up my own thing while just keeping the name and vague apperence" that Gunn did.

Given how we've seen the left's reaction to Republicans like George W. Bush and Mitt Romeny become more positive during the Trump era, there's a good chance that Bob will completely backtrack on his hatred for Trump if another Republican president gets elected. I know that sounds :autism: given how Bob acts but trust me. Look at how fast him and his ilk went from calling Bush and Romney nazi's to calling Trump a nazi despite all having different positions. It's only about hating the current Republican with these people.

When he backtracks on Trump, it'll be something along the lines of "Trump was bad but [insert Republican candidate here] has shown me just how much worse things could be" or making jokes along the lines of "I never thought I'd be saying I miss Trump but..." on social media. That's all it will be.

That being said, I would be shocked if Bob lives to see another Republican president. Assuming the modern trend continues, Trump will win a second term in 2020 and then a Democrat will win in 2024. If that person wins two terms, we will likely won't see another Republican until 2032. That's if the modern trend continues.

The only scenario I could see Bob witnessing another Republican president is if a different Republican candidate wins the nomination in 2020 and proceeds to win the election. Given the current state of Bob's health and how he takes care of himself, he'll be lucky to make it to 2024 and incredibly lucky to make it to 2028.

How unenlightened of Bob, a white man, to criticize people of Asian descent.
