Bob seems to think that the Oscar viewer base actually gives a shit about the awards. Most are tuning in because of the celebrities and for the chance to see flubs or other drama. This is why the oscar preshow is the red carpet and some hosts talking about who is wearing what instead of some clipshow of all the nominated films trailers.

Is just a parade of egos. If you are a technician you are usually overlooked despite having an almost equal share in the success of a production. We all know that but it has become unbearable thanks to the disconnection of "creatives" with general audiences + factors such as people not having enough resources to waste in entertainment.

I don't know where or how people got "Black people are the master race" out of it beyond repeating it because others kept saying it.

Then again, Bob's kinda too dimwitted for popcorn flicks in general. Note that he thought nobody in the MCU was aware of Wakanda despite being on the United Nations and it being the reason T'Challa was even in Civil War. He confused them being secretive to mean nobody knows they exist.

Not to mention Banner was able to find it with Google while looking up information on Klawe in Age of Ultron.

People knew Wakanda existed. As we saw IN Black Panther itself, the public, and even the intelligence agencies, believe it is a small nation whose main exports are textile. Wakanda existing wasnt the secret, just the Vibranium and the tech. Hell, some people are even aware that Wakanda "used" to have Vibranium before Klaw stole "all" of it.

This still astounds me. Even if Blob knows he's not honest enough to admit it, but a lot of people who goddamn well ought to know better are getting caught up in this Trump deranged hysteria too because they're not thinking it through.

We already have a "space force", it's part of the USAF and it handles cyber warfare, satellite management and tracking (including GPS), and communications and meteorology for the military. The debate among people who know what the fuck they're talking about and have an iota of honesty, is whether the USAF has room to grow, or if we need to place those responsibilities into a new branch under the Department of the Air Force, and the consensus actually seems to be "they do and we don't, but we could stand to bring back USSPACECOM". The Trump admin's hellbent for leather to do it anyways, despite the recommendations of his own administration and the Pentagon, and likely to fuck it up just like Rumsfeld fucked everything up fifteen years ago in his restructuring.

Probably also has something to do with the fact that national parks catch on fire because of lightning strikes or some other act of nature whereas a factory closing generally involves decisions that people made.

True in this case the park might be an issue because of a controlled burn, I just mean in the general it could be random acts than deliberate. Not to even mention the debate about whether environmental policies make these parks more likely to burn... It's almost like life is complex or something.
