For shits and giggles I watched the first few episodes of his Game Overthinker show, and I get the impression he's kinda like an adult SammyClassicSonicFan, only without the shrieking. He shits on FPSes without even playing them (although I will grant him they were a popular target in the 2000's), he treats all triple A games like they're the same brown boring thing (a la mixing up Dark Souls and Skyrim), always wants wacky, weird, cartoonish stuff with his games and not more realistic stuff, and of course, an undying, unhealthy love for the classics.
The difference is that Sammy matured and grew up, but Bob is still in this mindset.

I can definitely see why he’d hate the latter, since it depicts his precious pee-o-the-seas as cannibals. Both films being led by two of the few openly right-wing actors in Hollywood probably doesn’t help either.

My theory is that they're trying to get clicks from people hate-watching him. I don't think it will work, considering Bob's unlistenable accent and gross verbosity. How many people even on Kiwi Farms listened to, say, his entire rant against Batman vs. Superman? Not many.

Well to be honest, The Escapist has largely diminished in the last few years to the point where they had to get Bob back just to regain their audience. Personally, I was a old watcher of Escape to the Movies but have moved on to something more useful for movie reviews.
