Honestly I do believe his tombstone will say "Game Over" because he'll think it's clever even though it's the most clichéd and over used term. I don't understand why Bob is railing on this issue anyway. The impression that I get from Bob is that he wants to come off as this well-spoken/educated pretentious film buff with taste for only the most high class art and cinema. Almost like the Cinema Snob, except he's not joking and completely serious. Why is he still angry this formulaic cape shit that has no artistic merit and is solely made to put butts in seats and make money? The old film critic guard could be pretentious pricks but they were pretentious pricks about films actually trying to be art and say something while comic book films which I'm a fan of are as deep as a sandbox. Slasher films/Horror films fans and Action films fans have been told their genres they love are superficial trash outside of a few exceptions for decades but are like "Yeah but we like it so fuck off". But Capeshit and Star Wars fans are so insufferable because they're usually sci-fi fans and have seen some of those properties praised for exploring social themes and feel their Capeshit and Star Wars films which were originally made for children needs to be taken serious too because they're adults damn it.
