How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Technically speaking, the word "caravan" emerged to describe the Arab travelers that used to travel by camel to the marketplace to sell their goods. Bob's likely associating the word caravan with the desert because of that connection.

I don't want to bash him for it, because frankly when I hear the word "caravan" I get that same image in my mind.
I looked into it after posting that and it seems you're right. It seems to be once of those "historical definitions vs general usage" cases. Kinda like how "crusade" can mean Christianity's holy wars and the more general "devoted cause".

And how many average voters think of a minivan?

Cause all your other ideas have been smash successes.

So... the girlfriend experience? Which is a real thing.

Or uh... so I've heard.

If you give MovieBob a cookie, he’ll want more cookies.

If you give MovieBob more cookies, he’ll start to gain weight.

If MovieBob gains weight, he’ll have a higher chance of contracting diabeetus.

If MovieBob contracts diabeetus, his brain starts to turn to mush.

If MovieBob’s brain turns to mush, he’ll lose his ability of self-awareness.

If MovieBob loses self-awareness, he’ll start spewing crazy crap on Twitter.

If MovieBob starts spewing crazy crap on Twitter, other people will follow suit.

If other people follow suit, Trump wins two elections.
lol @ implying Mario Costume Black Trenchcoat man sperging about movies on the internet ever had any self awareness.

Imagine having such an ego that you think a major film studio is specifically targeting you.

Warner Bros has blocked my three-hour BvS video out of spite!! Not because I'm basically showing the entire movie while adding a bunch of nothing!

Also, I checked and the individual parts are still up, so what exactly is he complaining about?

If you like California so much, why don't you move there?

Considering the quality of what Bob does publish, I’m quite happy if that unpublished material never sees the light of day.
By contrast, Yahtzee Croshaw's Mogworld and Jam books, while they weren't instant classics, were amusing and readable.

I wonder... do you think Bob envies Yahtzee? Looks at him and thinks 'that should be me!'? I really wonder how long it'll be till Yahtzee gets tired of carrying the Escapist, and someone makes him a better offer.

But....books like Ironsight HAVE delivered. Not only is he trying to do the "Vox Day is comicsgate" connection despite Vox himself not thinking so, he's ignoring that many anti-CG artists fail to produce their products outside of contracted work at best.

Zoe Quinn being a good example.

Fun fact: you know how in San Francisco there's a lot of tents on the sidwalks where homeless people live in and defecate? Well, if you climb up those fire escapes and head on up to the roofs, you can see the same thing up there! I forgive Bob for thinking "the economy is really good" though, after all he hasn't walked anywhere in years, let alone climb a ladder.

"California's economy is really good!" grunted the uncredentialed halfwit who can't scrape together enough cash on Patreon to afford a SRO in the worst part of San Francisco.

But Hollywood gives me dancing black people. How can that not be making 1000000000 dollars from Africans being inspired by people who look just like them?

Bob, how about you step out here into this meth-addled dystopian wasteland?

I've yet to see shit on the street. My taxes are almost non-existent compared to yours. There are a few illegals, nothing to be done about that, but you have those too.

"Making fun of us" doesn't work when you're describing yourself accurately and us inaccurately. It would be like you trying to make fun of a thin person for being overweight.

A technocratic elite, huh. Kinda hilarious, that. Yeah, I'm in rural Alabama. I'm surrounded on three sides by cotton fields, and the stop sign down the road has bullet holes in it.

I can drive about 20 minutes and suddenly be surrounded by research parks for cutting-edge aerospace, defense, medical and computing technology companies.

Bob's definition of "relevant" industries is fairly bizarre, innit?

Not to mention his rebuttal of "i heard this happening to new york" doesn't make either fact not true.

Also that "we've heard all this before" is a common refrain of those doubting global warming.

Which Bob mocks people for.

Hmmmm....
