Not exaggerations, real things Bob has said. He wants everyone in the middle of america to be relocated to coastal cities, and for nature to reclaim the middle of america. If not that, then let Mexicans populate the middle. Giant city structures like from Dredd for housing. Massive verticle hydroponic factories for growing food. Aggressive colonization of space. Terraforming the moon for agriculture. Full automization with almost zero need for a human workforce. One world government led by the elites of society.

It's a hodgepodge of stupid and laughable ideas that Bob thinks America needs to be moving forward to. Most of them make no sense, are completely impossible to implement or directly contradict one another.

Bob's vision would run afoul of that of Canada's Dr. David Suzuki (fruit fly geneticist and commie nut case green TV host), who back in the 1990s said that the West Coast (of everything, from Alaska through Canada and the rest of the US) should be (probably forcibly) depopulated of people via relocation, and have the entire west for animals but no people. This would leave the Midwest and East Coast as the only permissible locations, of course ONLY in existing large cities, in super-high-rise chicken coops with units the size of postage stamps for human habitation.

Has Bob ever read any decent SF? The stories covering superior future always have elements of work, even if people would be freed from "work for pay to survive", they still would create art, play sport, design new things. "Getting better at things" is a human condition and the reason why we got here. We like structures, we like to admire people who do great things. Whatever it's beast slaying or sawing a great space robes in superior future.

Bob's future is more Wall-e than Star Trek. It's feetless slobs watching YouTube than people without economical stimuli that has been replaced by rank, status and knowledge.
