Christ, that's so fucking sad and amazing. Sad for the fact that pretty much not many politicians actually do this, thinking first about votes and then about consequences. That's what happens when they are all (i know not all, but all that get into power) in bed with corporations and are into politics to get loaded.

But when it comes to people not understanding things they support is baffling. Even college educated people do not understand basic concepts like logistics, supply and demand or how laws are passed. I have a short story about this, but i think i already told it: While in college, i was in a class where we spoke about the European Central Bank and how economics are managed in the EU. During this lecture me and the teacher had to explain for 20 minutes to 25 people that money isn't created by random banks out of thin air and that there is a process to create more money and the effects of more money circulating around. It was amazing to see people so stubborn to accept it.

Going a but off-topic but similar to what you said, I took a Politic Science 101 course last fall semester and we were arguing over the DACA controversy and I said that it made no sense for illegal immigrants to not get citizenship when they won't be deported. This guy was basically using Bob's strawman skills and called me a racist bigoted cuck and I asked him if knew of the consequences DACA has on labor and he didn't know and just hated that Trump is taking away Obama's policies because he thinks Trump hates non-white heterosexuals.

This highlights the stupidity of SJWs that Bob has.

Probably some kind of dumb world view where he only registers the two extreme sides of debates and thinking that people who aren't with him are hiding their true extreme views perhaps as some form of projection, considering his previous political views (2008 election blogging about considering republican potentially as a veil for his now apparent true beliefs.)

Because he is extremely fringe, and he's projecting that onto his opponents so he seems petty by comparison. Banks and credit card companies are strong arming online companies into cracking down on speech they don't like. That's a pretty standard position to take. Money hungry corrupt people are prone to abusing power, historically speaking.
