Julian Assange is an award winning journalist (And I call him a Journalist, he's done actual journalistic work) who has played a massive part in exposing literal war crimes, state sponsored terror and torture and the methods of which our own governments spy on us. As a super-awesome robot I too can understand the use of hyperbole, but man at some point if enough people keep failing to get your jokes, you have to learn that your delivery sucks. Either work on that or just drop the effort and pick out a new routine.

He probably will claim it's a cumulative effect. Over the decades of having to cater to wasteland ghouls, resources that could have been invested in science was instead diverted to them. With Terry sadly deceased and Bulla in a mental institution and drugged up for a good long while, Bob has become my #1 cow to follow. I just KNEW he couldn't keep up the calm and collected act forever. Getting his "job" back at The Escapist gave him incentive to act like a normal human being for a while, but I knew it was a thin veneer behind the absolutely insane genocidal maniac that he really is.

The thing about Bob crying about what he's earned (or when he carries on about people he feels don't deserve it being given too many chances) is that he's been given more chances to have a regular "job" such as it as a content creator ranting about pop cultural ephemera than most people could hope to and managed to napalm each one.

He tanked his pre-Youtube public access TV gig, where he and two other hosts reviewed recent films. One of the hosts was an evangelical Christian and Bob tanked his job because of his Passion of the Christ hot takes, which he devoted a page or so to in his embarrassing SMB3 book

First the Escapist fired him the first time, because he literally couldn't stop talking about Gamergate despite being ordered not to.

Then screwattack fired him.

Bob enthusiastically kissed Devin Faraci's ass for months to get a chance at posting to Birth Movies Death which then flopped and it turned out he kissed the ass of an alleged sex pest and creep as well. When he got some viral "heat" from his review of Pixels (breaking news flash - this Adam Sandler movie might not be good! :rants for ten minutes: ) he failed to spin that into a bigger audience or pick up any long term steam from.

From what I've gathered, about every boss that hired him got fired, resigned in disgrace, went bankrupt or took a sabbatical. It's almost like he carries the curse of failure around him.
