OK, lets forget the Chinese concentration camps for muslims, lets forget the fact that many Chinese people are racist and xenophobic as fuck. Lets forget the government that keeps a tight grasp on the internet. Lets forget the fact that China has been using its military power to back up North Korea. Lets focus on what Bob has said: tech and media money goes mostly into the hands of higher up government officials, and a lot of their advancements comes from straight up stealing other nations products. Young billionaires happen in many different places, and they are the outlier, the nation is mostly poor people. Railways are overcrowded and supercities are fucking horrible for the environment, for the people living inside the cities, and for the people in the surrounding area as they have to feed those cities. Oh and a space program that hasn't even reached the moon, while NASA pines about Mars. OK. Also, is Bob really arguing that jobs in China are better? The place where they have to install suicide nets on their factories to stop people from killing themselves? And China's drug of choice is heroin. You don't hear about it because the Chinese government doesn't like to talk about it.
