I continue to be amazed at how such an absolute manchild can be so full of himself. He's like Chris except more erudite and less talented.

I should think one who whinges about his superiority would be more interested in self-improvement, but he's like the stereotypical fat, uncultured American who doesn't seem interested in seriously cultivating any hobbies outside of fluffing himself on Twitter. Does he think that being the ubermensch is just "fake it 'til you make it"?

I hate capeshit and yet I've never seen the godfather 2. Checkmate manchildren.

Not all superhero movies are the same. The dark knight films are completely different than the Marvel slop. What people say when they hate superhero movies is:

1. They want villains with depth and motivation. Half of Marvel characters are bad just because they're bad, m'kay?
2. Inconsistent tone and tension. The characters constantly break the tension of action scenes with quips.
3. Excess CGI covering bad plot. If plot revolves around special effects, you have it backwards.
4. Muh representation. Diversity is awkwardly shoehorned in, serves no narrative purpose, and if you complain about the poor writing, you're a bad person. Remember how we were supposed to be impressed with a 30 second quip about a dead husband in endgame? Much bravery. Such wow.

Maybe if every movie wasn't the same, people wouldn't mind as much.

Bob's hate for the franchise is due to the fact that MI got better and continues to do better, because it LISTENED to fans whereas the MCU is now going into super dark water, adapting plans for Phase 4 that are going to kill the gravy train dead due to it continuing to put all of it's eggs into the Brie Larson basket and now doubling down with SJW identity politics and Whor, which unless it takes a huge piss on the character, is going to be a franchise killer and a career killer for Portman.
MI for the most part hasn’t gone woke since Tom Cruise doesn’t really give a shit about politics. Regarding MCU, it doesn’t help that both RDJ and Chris Evans are no longer carrying the franchise on their shoulders as well as coming off of the whole Thanos saga.

Daily reminder to Bob that he’s never going to have that superior future of his because it would literally fucked America to death.

Also, “Movie”Bob probably never watched nor knows about Citizen Kane and The Godfather, two of AFI’s most significant American movies.

Good thing Butterball and the Boy Autist are on the scene to defend an insanely profitable genre that's dominated by the most powerful entertainment juggernaut in history from stereotypical undergraduate film students. Where would we be without such stunning bravery?

These people can't even get their stereotypes right. Someone who loves Kubrick and European "art" movies that are basically porn isn't the kind of person who would like normie friendly movies about a white guy solving racism. I guess it's hard to be that much of a shill for MCU movies without being completely retarded and forgetting the stereotype you're supposed to be sticking with.

It's just a continuation of their mindset that everyone they don't like is an interchangeable outgroup member, applied to movies instead of politics.

I know there's quite a few shops of him dressed like a Nazi, but has Bob been photoshopped to be dressed up like the Columbine shooters yet? Because every time he says "natural selection" that's the image I get in my mind.

"This is a McDonalds, sir."

Bob thinks of himself as cosmopolitan, yet has completely plebeian tastes. Sees himself as an intellectual and a creative, yet champions some of the most derivative and banal forms of entertainment that exist.

Whatever you say, Bob. Whatever you say.

He already dressed as one (he probably sees himself as "cool" or "deep" in this picture):

The only things missing are a gun on his back and a cringy manifesto.

Is Bob aware that the Basterds, despite being the good guys and fighting the Nazis, are shown to be fucking psychopaths that don't make any difference between a Gestapo officer and a normal conscript? The movie highly implies that Reines projects the trauma of being almost killed by the KKK for being half Jewish (I think that was revealed in interviews) into killing Nazis. While he had some pity for the officer that Von Hammermark killed, he was not above torturing people to get what he wants. Of course that's Tarantino's style of directing: morally ambigous characters that have some redeeming traits. But this shit of putting Aldo Reines as some kind of antifascist hero is really retarded and goes against the way the character was portrayed.

To hurt Bob's case even more, the Germans the Basterds kill aren't fascist at all- they're National Socialists (AKA Nazis). If they were killing fascists, they'd be killing Mussolini's soldiers on the Italian peninsula.

HURR DURR HE MARKED NAHTZEEES FER LIFE!

Except Tarantino is too stupid to realize that scar removal procedures were pretty common during that era. Every "marked fer da resta yer peggersuggin lyfe" Nazi would have been 'scar-less' in about a week and a half.

Well, technically the Nazis were the most radical branch of fascism because shares common elements with its Italian counterpart

Still needs the "Natural Selection" black t-shirt with his gunt hanging out to emphasize the irony that he's eating his way to his own natural selection.

You have to remember that Bob doesn't even remotely grasp this concept. Bob has an incredibly black and white world view. You're either good or bad, there are no shades of grey according to Bob. Morally ambiguous is a concept he doesn't understand.

It's one of the reasons why he hated Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri so much.
