Total non sequitur that came to mind after seeing his voter registration(yes late. I don't check blob's thread too often):

Blob "Projection" Twitman who can't hold a job, can't afford to move out of someone else's basement, is 38 but looks like he is 65, incel unless he hires whores(those poor ladyboys) but still counts himself among the evolved men; the elite.

Blob strikes me as the kind of trash that doesn't get invited to his own family gatherings--yeah he shows up but no one told him about them. He just comes to the door and everyone thinks Oh fuck who told him this was going on?

Sometimes when I'm out for a walk I'll catch a whiff of the sewer or storm drain and think of Blob. That's how I imagine he smells: Foul brine; unprocessed human waste.

Blob who is such a perfect coinessuer of media. He judges all as he sips from grime coated cans of warm Pabst.

When Blob looks into the abyss it shrieks in terror.

You be the genetics judge, Kiwis.

William F. Buckley may not have been a looker, but he managed to get married to a socialite whom he stayed hooked to for 57 years. Buckley has also been widely criticized by some Conservatives because he changed his views mid-career and began opposing anti-semitism and racial segregation. That's right, Buckley did a 180 and publically admitted that his ideological foes were equals and human beings. I highly doubt we could expect the same kind of graciousness from Matey Potatey, the man who thinks coal miners and factory workers are the only thing keeping him from uploading his consciousness into a Princess Peach blowup doll.

These scenes is how I imagine leftists feel when dealing with Bob on social media.

"Class solidarity" politics has been found wanting for precisely the same reason as any "solidarity" politics: you can't conjure "solidarity" out of thin air. People that you think share a common interest, and thus ought to work together, would rather fight against each other for a bigger share of power. Bobby blames the failure of class-based politics on working-class cisgender white men, but look at the mess called feminism, or black power.
You are correct.

Solidarity, just like trust and optimism, isn't something that can be created by commands or intimidation.

To Bob, inequality is never an actual problem? Is that why he's content with being a basement dweller?

That specific version of the Confederate battle flag survived because it's a better design. Seriously. It's visually distinct from other flags not just in the USA but worldwide, and is instantly recognizable. The actual confederate flag meanwhile, with it's three red and white stripes and 13 stars in a circle on a blue square in the corner looks a lot more similar to the United States flag, and to several state flags. It's a little more creative than the three stripe flags that most of continental Europe seem to like, but it's not nearly as distinctive as the stars and bars. Slap that pattern on anything and you instantly know what it is. For better or worse, it's iconic.

Whatever your feelings about the Confederacy, the stars and bars battle flag is just good graphic design. I never understood why some people, usually of a more liberal bent, talk about how the Confederate flag isn't the *real* Confederate flag like they're saying something meaningful or uncovering some kind of conspiracy. It's used because it looks better. That's it.

My understanding is that the Confederate battle flag (in use in Grant's Tomb) is used to specifically acknowledge the courage of the men who fought while not supporting the cause.
