How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

I’d still love to see Bob react to a scenario where Gunn gets #MeToo.

I want to see what happens if a MCU director or actor is fired for say refusing to cut things out to please PRC censors or expressing support for Hong Kong.

On another note, Bobby is still salty over Marty not liking the "pretty men in tights" movies.

Bob just throws out that all sorts of people shouldn't be allowed to vote, ever. OK, fine. But Bob has no sort of framework for making this happen. Does he want a constitutional amendment, a law passed by congress, an executive order? Who knows? He just kinda waves his hand around vaguely and never provides any kind of actual plan. Because he doesn't have one. Because he's ignorant about rights, jurisprudence, history, psychology.

Even the commies and anarchists have more concrete plans for getting their ideas adopted than Bob. He thinks political power is a magic wand that makes all opposition disappear.
Here's Bob's plan:

Polling place volunteer: "Who are you voting for?"
Citizen 1: "Clinton, Hillary."
Volunteer marks sheet: "thank you. Next! And who are you voting for?"
Citizen 2: "Trump, Donald J."

Volunteer pulls out gun & shoots citizen 2.

Volunteer: "Next?"

It makes me amused to see Scorsese, Jennifer Aniston and now Coppola, three highly successful entertainers whose work has had cultural significance, bash the MCU and gets Bob triggered from it.

I'm reasonably certain you could mine Bob's posts and find sections of Atlas Shrugged that flatly contradict them. Bob's not smart enough to have an ideology.

Bob's ideology is simple:

"Whatever I want, whenever I please."

Aka "toddlerism"

I love how Bob is projecting himself onto Gunn as though Gunn is how Bob would ideally be when really if Gunn took a good look at Bob, he'd be disgusted by Bob's dehumanization of most of society along with his elitist attitude.
Historian's note: Bob has claimed to have interviewed James Gunn.

You're assuming he wants a framework of any kind and isn't just fantasizing about straight-up exterminating the undesirables. He never quite says that, but he says enough to draw the inference that's what he really craves.
Remember, Bob's big defense for why he's not a eugenicist is that he doesn't have a plan to deal with the genetic inferiors he rants about.

I can't find a decent image of the quote right now but his reply to the accusations was, "Eugenics isn't 'There are too many stupid people.' Eugenics is 'Here's my horrible plan to fix it.'"

As for what he's said in the past about restricting voting:

...There's a lot of tweets about that. Not quite as many as him calling anyone to the right of Hillary subhuman, obsolete, and less evolved, but a lot.

Foreigners should vote in the US election though, because it effects them!

Yes, it has happened at Bob's sweet mansion, where he lay near his massive swimming pool as bikini bitches fed him grapes, while he and Gunn discussed how culturally significant superhero movies were to this generation.
I'll see if i can ever actually find it.

But I did find two interesting links...
To my mind, you can call that one of two things: An especially American (almost amusingly so) form of authoritarianism – one where acolytes of a demagogue take it upon themselves to play Witchfinder General for Dear Leader as unpaid, plausibly-deniable assets just for the individual sadistic-satisfaction of it… or, given its secondary feature of serving as a “be afraid of us – this can happen to you next!” warning to anyone else who might step out of line, a much more blunt designation: Political terrorism. (And before anyone brings it up: No, this is nothing like Roseanne Barr, who got fired for something she did in the present; not almost a decade ago that had already been apologized for and worked to overcome.)

Also look at the author of this piece.

I just love the lack of self awareness here. Apparently thinking the MCU is real art doesn't count as a childish opinion that would disqualify someone from voting under this system.

Is it wrong of me to compare Robert De Niro’s character from Joker or any other character from the movie to Bob?
I would think of Bruce Wayne's dad. As the movie depicted him, he was a fucking rich asshole that looked down on absolutely everyone because "They didn't make something out of themselves". I get the comedian guy was a fucking asshole, but Wayne's dad was more explicit about it.

I agree, plus the comedian actually had some funny lines. Thomas Wayne was just an outright asshole but even then comparing him to Blob is insulting, since he at least seemed to care about his family.

Very true. As Wayne might have been terribly condescending and insensitive towards people in a much worse situation than him, at least he got very mad at a stranger being alone with his son. There is no one comparable to Bob in the movie because there is no one that it's an outright sanctimonious shithead that had it better than everyone and told them it's their own fault for not buying into his ideas because they are inferior and stupid.

To be honest though if there was a RPG that had a class called atomic warlock I would play the shit out of that. Just for the chance to fire off Eldritch radiation.

Might I recommend Deadlands Classic, Hell on Earth? There's things called Doomsayers which as basically radiation priests, not quite Atomic Warlock but if you want to fire blasts of pure radiation than it more than serves.

Bonus points, you can mutate into being a huge fat blob and roleplay as post apocalyptic Movie Bob!

Yes because Bob is a sociopathic lowlife who thinks he's among the elite of society. De Niro's character had some redeeming traits to him and was entertaining, and Thomas Wayne was successful and actually was doing something about his ambitions.

Bob is a cowardly moron who will never handle confrontation on his dumb beliefs beyond "Lol who are you", "You're just making shit up", and "That was a joke friendo".

After thinking about it for a minute I think Arthur's fat clown coworker who gives him the gun, then rats him out for it is probably the closest to Bob. Fake tough guy who pretends to stick up for people he doesn't actually care about when he's really just a slimy opportunist who's only in it for himself. They even have a similar physique, although that guy is a bit less ugly than Bob.
