I wanna agree with you. What kinda leans me towards this is that he took three, I'm assuming by his wording, consecutive, shitty pics of himself and uploaded them. Did he never look at them? He would've had to, right? That means he knew they were shitty and did nothing, a nothing which includes retaking the shitty pics. What pushes me away from that is the idea that Bob has any foresight to plan his own version of a gay op.
The other potential angle to it being on purpose, if you wanna get out your tin foil fellow Bobberinos, is that he put out rhw bad pics so that people would stop sending him his Mario costume and shitty chicken pics.

It doesn't need to be a gay op. It just means that Bob wants to be made fun of because on some level he enjoys the attention. Like a six year old, he cannot distinguish between positive and negative attention. Someone over on his thread suggested this is one of the things that motivates Dobson, and it makes a lot of sense.
