I'm not sure Bob has any knowledge of any sci-fi future scenarios except Star Trek.

For an alleged "thinker" his beliefs are not based on science.
When Roddenberry wrote Trek he expected humanity to just "figure out" faster than light travel and have a wealth of strange and hospitibal planets ripe for exploration.
The thing is, since then, we DID "figure out" FTL travel, unfortunately for Bob we figured out that it doesn't work, and a manned vessel simply cannot travel at the speed of light, let alone faster than it.
Sure, "as far as we know", but as it so happens, the more we learn the less viable it becomes.
That means no viable travel outside of our solar system any time soon, and definitely no Trek-like scenario anywhere on the horizon.
How he doesn't know this? Somebody's probably pointed it out, but this is Bob, he probably thinks the solution can be found by just throwing more money at it, just like his unscientific beliefs in how governmental benevolence works.

TL;DR Bob isn't just stupid, he's outdated.

Not to get off the subject of Bob, but can someone tell me a little bit about Parasite? I'm seeing it getting brought up a lot, especially how it is so great and a must watch. I want to know a little bit more, especially since I have no idea what Bob is even saying here.

Parasite is about a really poor family of con artists who better themselves by ruining other people's lives. They systematically replace all the workers in a very wealthy family's home and then get their comeuppance. The funny thing is is that the poor people are incredibly capable and go out of their way to do more work to make the easy cash than if they applied themselves which does get addressed. To bring Bob in on this, the poor people do some very vile stuff to get where they're at. The rich family start off the film nice, and a little oblivious, turn out to be just some rich assholes but they never become more than assholes. They never use their place or power to affect the poor family's life. They're just assholes. It's almost as if it's morally grey. The only thing that I can think of is that Bob would've been happier with a clear cut bad guy for him too root for/against. Again, had it been anyone else the tweet would've been innocuous but it wasn't anyone else. It was Bobbyboi.

I don't think he's ever been civil with anyone who disagrees with him, the closest he gets is passive aggresive. It's nice to know the meme has struck a nerve however.

Civil for Bob is not threatening to crack your skull as there's a instantaneous catharsis to the sound it makes.

-Bulbous chin gunt.
-Severe jaundice.
-A Shumi that FAILED TO EVOLVE (perfect!) into a Moomba. What's a Moomba?

-Spits in the face of other elder-type Shumis by waving his fat hands around when Shumi culture teaches to keep them modestly hidden.
-Possibly banished from his village for being too greedy.
-Co-founds Balamb Garden which is a highschool that turns kids into private mercenaries (Okay that part is badass and has NOTHING to do with Bob, but...)
-Loses sight of the original goal and just wants to line his pockets (now we're back on track)
-Chooses to cuck out to the sorceress (total globalist btw) by handing over the mercs involved in her attempted assassination, as opposed to the other co-founder Cid who doesn't want to cuck out.
-Causes a civil war over this disagreement.
-The mercs win by "killing" NORG, locking him away in a basement-like cocoon.

This is a great example of why General Blob is such a powerful force. He's viewing the long term, the war, rather than being distracted by the battles. Sure, the anti-globalist view may win for the next 40, or even 400 or 4000 years, but in the long run Blob knows the tide will turn and THEN post-national globalism will take its proper place as the form of human civilization. The joke is on those Sanders supporters who are only thinking and caring about events in their own and their children and their children's childrens lifespans.

This happens for the same reason Bob doesn't have an easily searchable database of his greatest hits. He drops things like this so fucking often that we humble archivists just barely keep up, let alone finding the right tool to document his retarded opinions and beliefs

Honestly, he does it often enough that we can even overlook the entire contents of a tweet because he's dropped something as jaw dropping as "civilly tweets" that we miss the other two nuggets just laying there right after it
