So what you're saying is... a certain somebody isn't evolving and moving into the superior future like he should be?
I've said this multiple times over in the thread (I have 830 posts in this thread as of today, fuck me) that for all of Bob's talk about evolving and moving into the superior future, he sure is obsolete and backwards in many ways.

Bobby shills for Wong Jing's exploitative Category III fare. He must think they are "feminist" or something:

But Naked Killer is so 90s. I wish I could interest Bobby in this Hong Kong Cat. III film for the Current Year:

Given he jerked himself hard to The Handmaiden, I wouldn’t be surprised if Bob is exactly like Dobson and masturbates to yuri manga.

I'm out of the loop with current Hollywood trends. Is $80-100 million considered a small budget? Most directors wish they have a fraction of the money to make their own movies. (Also, lol at Birds of Prey being an arthouse movie).

Yeah, I think Bob is going for Asian women now that he realizes he has no chance with white women.

He's probably hoping they'll mistake him for Buddha. Alas, Bob, Buddha is usually smiling.

It's considered small mainly because Hollywood is desperately trying to just endlessly hit billion dollar homers. Even then lolno it isn't arthouse, and with an 80 million tag it counts as a medium film in my book.

Art house? More like Fart House.

Childish, I know, but that's about the level of dismissal that this assertion deserves.

The entire Hollywood film industry has essentially become the world's most high stakes gambling addict.

I've heard it attributed to Don, though I can't find the exact quote, that you can make a movie for kids scary and as long as it has a happy ending the kids will be fine.
I've heard that too, and I tend to agree with it. Some of the most important movies and other works to me when I was a child got pretty dark and scary and in the end it just made it feel more rewarding when things worked out.

The Harley Quinn movie is NOWHERE near arthouse quality. I'm not even much of an arthouse guy (I'm more of a grungy and sleazy movie kinda guy) and even I can see that bluff.
