Yeah, he's been going off on people wanting to reopen their businesses for weeks now, variations on a theme of "I'm part of the Superior Future™ working class and I still have a job, which proves that obsoletes who don't should fuck off and die." From claiming that furloughed employees are "on vacation" to bitching about protestors being nothing but slavedrivers only wanting to reopen so they have people to lord over again, mixed with complaints about how he's been working soooo haaaaaaaaard all this time, Bob's been even more unhinged than usual.

Given all his risk factors, he'd better pray he doesn't get the Wu Flu. An obese diabetic approaching middle age who probably has undiagnosed sleep apnea (given previous tweets about being tired despite supposedly getting a full night's sleep) is a recipe for major complications from the virus. A nose swab would be the least of his worries.

If things were reversed and left-leaning twitter wanted reopenings, Bob would side with them in a second. He's against whatever the dudebros want.

Thx, I've often heard it mentioned but never knew the details. From stuff I've heard, wasn't like an animal killed or somebody on set got actually hurt in real life? That always seems to be the implication.
I did watch it, and that was exactly what he said. Except that he added the film was a commentary on the Mondo genre, pretty much the movie was saying filmmakers did this in mondo movies and should not have.
And something about ethics in journalism.

Shit, someone should try to convince him that Cannibal Holocaust is a favorite movie of Gamergate.

Actually I'd be pretty down with comparing unethical journalists in the modern day to the film makers in the movie, since they frequently do try to destroy people's lives for a story, even if they (usually) aren't literally raping women and killing people. The parallels are definitely there, including the exploitation of fear of the other.

Animals were harmed and killed in that movie, which added to the controversy. I know that the public thought the actors who played the documentary crew were dead for real and the director had them appear in court to prove they were alive.

Cannibal Holocaust was an early example of the found footage genre, predating The Blair Witch Project significantly. It features an exploitation filmmaker and his crew going into the jungle to investigate an isolated tribe of cannibals. The thing is, the tribe isn't giving them the really shocking footage they want and the documentary is turning out boring. So they start fucking with the tribals to provoke responses, eventually culminating in raping one of the women and killing a couple of them. Finally the tribe has had enough and slaughters the crew, which gets captured on a camera that's left running during the slaughter. This is framed with footage at the beginning and end, supposedly from another film maker who went hunting for the first missing film crew and found the footage.

For all its infamy, Cannibal Holocaust isn't really anymore gruesome or shocking than lots of hard R rated movies made now or in previous decades. What really got to people is that it was presented as real when it was first released. If anything, the film's racial message is pretty woke since it's about the westerners fucking up natives to present them as monsters while being the real monsters themselves, as well as being a sort of meta commentary on exploitation films and the manipulative way they portray their subject matter.

Like most found footage films, the cinematography is pretty shit and the pacing as slow and meandering, but at least it has a somewhat more interesting story.

Now you know.

Can anyone who can stomach watching a Cinema Roberto video confirm if he fucked up his analysis and how?
Cannibal Holocaust was Umberto Lenzi’s critique of “Mondo” filmmakers, particularly Franco Prosperi and Gualterio Jacopetti, who created the genre in Mondo Cane and in particular their infamous Africa, Addio, which showed executions, staged incidents of violent rioting and wildlife poaching among other atrocities, all the while claiming to be a documentary that only showed real events fortuitously captured by their cameras.

The producers of Cannibal Holocaust paid the actors who were “killed” in the film to stay out of the public eye for 18 months prior to them being brought to court to prove Lenzi hadn’t actually killed them.

At least he wasn't comparing Jesus to James Gunn. "Let the little children come to me."

The nasopharyngeal swab is uncomfortable, but if it is "one of the worst things" Bobby's EVER seen, I'm afraid he has some bad news down the road - daily finger prickings, for example.

Once you get fat and diabetic enough, you no longer have feeling in the end of your extremities.

Bob brings back his GameOverthinker character so that Bob can talk to himself, and.....sell GameOverthinker merch? He has GameOverthinker shirts? Seriously?
Not only shirts...

But being you DOESN'T make you important and great. This is the notion that should have been seared in Bobby's brain, instead of the console war bullshit.

And apparently quite a few of our underachieving cows have been in "gifted programs". Zach Antolek is another example.

The funniest thing for me is that, even though he's renounced the vid many times, this is basically the thesis of his infamous Magneto was right vid, that by virtue of being the weirdo, "smart" kid, you should be worshiped instead of someone like Michael Jordan. I always get a comfy feeling when Bob's mask slips.

My theory is that by "other track" his teachers didn't mean gifted, they meant special ed.

Sure Robert, if you parents would just had paid attention and got you into those Advanced Program classes, right now you would be ripped, with a full set of hair, rich with two movie deals in the works and about to take you cock out of your beautiful asian-american wife vagina.

This is beyond laughable. everybody knows these advanced placement classes are more of a pretty name than a actual effective program. Sure, more subjects can be covered, but it isn't like a world of difference, the curriculum stays basically the same, it isn't like the big brains get to learn quantum physics and the plebs stay on multiplication.

Not to mention that taking AP courses doesn't quite translate into seats in Ivy league colleges, or even normal colleges credits for that matter, right now no one takes this AP classes much seriously either way.

And Robert, its been over 3 fucking decades since you have set foot in a school. To sit there and wonder over something that is so minicule and uniportant as if it would have had a huge impact in your life. is just pathetic, as usual. We all know you collect resentments like every fatass filled with anger and frustration around the internet, but fuck me, middle School AP classes? Fucken really?

I know Bob is out of touch, but god damn. I'm sure that he was called "special" by his parents a few times and he interpreted it as "I'm actually a genius, but it's the schools fault I'm terrible at school work and barely pass every class." When you break it down, his entire argument is that if everyone had stroked his ego as a kid he'd be successful and happy now. I cannot even begin to describe how ass backwards that way of thinking is.

This is interesting. We are seeing another piece in the formation of Bob's wholly unjustified superiority complex fall into place. Remember that Bob went to elementary school decades ago, when few people knew about conditions such as autism and ADD. Kids who were bored because they were smart and being given easy material, on the other hand, were reasonably common. Some well-meaning but naive teacher noticed Bob's boredom and assumed that it meant he was smart and not being challenged, when really he was bored because it wasn't Mario or whatever else he was obsessed with at that age.

It really is a shame that he wasn't put in gifted classes, though; everyone involved would have been quickly disabused of the notion that Bob was smart when he was still bored, but now also frustrated and failing. Instead, this faulty unchallenged notion of his intelligence was allowed to fester, and form the core of a truly rank and noxious personality.

Robert talks about the political parties of the superior future™:
In short, Robert believes that the Dems will split into to 2 factions that are for the most part, both Liberal. Which might as well be a one-party state.

Also, Robert on key domestic issues:
"Hillary-sama would kill everyone I don't like!!".
I will agree that current politics has been the trajectory of the Dems, I'd say even for the last 40 to 60 years. I disagree with how the new part dichotomy is going to be. I've argued this in another thread. I think as the Neo-cons age out of the Republicans, more Libertarian and pro-freedom Liberals (think Dave Rubin, Joe Rogan, Tim Pool) are going to fill that void. The Dems are trying to court the younger communist/authoritarian white people, like himself, who think they know best so they should hold the power. This is why they have such a boner for "demographic change" and the influx of millions of immigrants, because they aren't accustom to our freedoms as much as we are. And more urbanization with greater influence over elections. With corona and Dems demand to shut everything down indefinitely and just give people money, this will be a test on how the American people want to go.

And a "War On Nazis" when half the population is considered a Nazi is exactly the type of despotism I would expect from Bob, and fear that is where the Dems are heading.

The weird thing is that Bob was tweeting every hour before posting this. Has Bob transcended humanity so much that he has replaced sleeping with laying down and tweeting?

Yes, Bob, if I were you, I'd want to be dead too.

This is the type of irksome "you don't have to tweet every single thought that enters your fat head" thing Bob always does. Then I thought, when ever he talks about how hard he's working, despite tweeting all day, it's a lame attempt to signal to his employers he's super seriously working right now you guys. So he is in bed, fucking around on his phone, but wants everyone to think he's fighting that urge for the benefit of his employer.

It wouldn’t be funny if it were done to you.

If that's one of the worst things Bob has ever seen, it's no wonder he's a sheltered pussy faggot with no clue how the actual world is. How can you be part of creating a Superior Future when you need a fainting couch just seeing a q-tip put up someone's nose. And of course, one of those "worse things" is something he'd wish on people he didn't like.

The Infamous Cannibal Holocaust Is Getting a Video Game Sequel – The Big Picture

Bob brings back his GameOverthinker character so that Bob can talk to himself, and.....sell GameOverthinker merch? He has GameOverthinker shirts? Seriously?
Wow, that's over a decade too late. I'm guessing Bob is one of those proud smug types that you to think selling merch was selling out, he was in this for the craft. I really hope he has to spend money up front to create a merchandise site. I love the thought of Bob digging himself a financial hole trying desperately to make himself a brand, even though his brand is going to be angry asshole on Twitter, that makes subpar YouTube critique videos sometimes.

Ah, yes, every dumbass on Twitter was or could have been in "gifted" classes. Let's see. First, that person who thinks intelligence is not innate, and they all have the capability to learn. Well, no, and this "children are blank slates" thinking is why the school system is failing. Putting smart kids and stupid kids in the same classes just means the smart ones don't really get educated, and the stupid ones can't keep up. They say that kids need the support and safety to thrive. That means not putting kids in classes where most of the time the teacher has to tell the fuck ups to sit down and stop throwing shit and have no real power to enforce that.

Then Bob has to chime in with his opinion. It's weird that he has a problem with the word "gifted" over "accelerated" or "skilled". I assume being in Catholic school, the word "gifted" is too "touched by God" for him, while the other two are more biological and hard working. In true Bob form, he words things to give himself plausible deniability. One could say that is his gift. He starts by saying there was no "gifted track" in elementary school, and after therapy and testing (the ones he admits that he sabotaged because he was just too smart for them) he was recommended for "the other track". The way he words that second tweet, and many tweets before it, just reinforces the idea that the school system said, "Yeah, your son is autistic and needs to be in special education". Actually, as I typed that, he might think "gifted" and "special" education are both Boomer words, and since he big brain, he was accelerated and skilled.

Then some rich kid comes in and complains that she knows that she only got into elite and Ivy League schools because she's rich, and she really isn't that special after all despite being "herself".

I actually agree with some things Bob said, but not in the way he meant. There should be schools that build off a child's strengths. And I agree that he would be miserable regardless of the school he went to, because he's a miserable person that rejects any attempt to correct his shitty behavior. But I do blame his parents.
