I actually had trouble processing the extent of this idiocy, classic Bobert. I'm getting annoyed with his trying to cherry pick trends and then cherry picking others to support a predetermined conclusion with no attempt at actual data collection or even basic follow up questions. 1- George Washington Carver did find a ton of uses what to do with Peanuts... but most of it was for medice and oils, not consumable food. He was pretty famous at the time of his discoveries, he was even in the white house and spoke with henry Ford and other big figures at the time of full on segregation. As of now, a lot of Carvers inventions have little use, since better products were produced since his time, and his legacy lies more with history and his techiniques of improving the richenes of soils.

So, yeah, might harsh to say, but in 2020, we don't have much need for Carver's inventions of now, no one will deny his legacy is important, but to bitch about how his products aren't across the world is asinine.

2- it would be nice if you could cite one of those poor people food that didn't travel the world Robert... Because i've been to Italy last year and I found a soul food place in Florence. And in Spain there was a Cajun restaurant in Barcelona. Stereotypical food in the modern world is now seen by what can be found in restaurant chains, pretty sure the japanese would explain that there is a lot more to their cusine other than sushi and ramen, but what managed to "travel" is the thing that is easy to acess and sell in other countries.
