Not gonna watch Mulan, because why the fuck would I, but isn't this movie pure Chinese pandering?

Because if that is the case, and if Robert isn't being a blow hard and there really is some queer bait, then someone wasn't doing their job right, because the Chinese ain't too fond of them gays, and I'm not talking about the government.

Also, Robert seem to overestimate the reaction people have over this progressive po-culture shit. Sure, the fanbases are loud and obnoxious, but the business side of things are quite mute on these things.

Take She-ra for example. tumbrl darling and all, but if you take a closer look, you will see very small seasons, most being 13, when cartoon seasons are usually greelit with 24 or so episodes.

Then Mattel seems very cold to IP as well, when they are known to be exploitative as fuck whenever they have anything resembeling a hit on their hands.

And then there is netflix, who bends backwards to whatever is successful and rushes to greenlit the sequel or next season on whatever hit they had.

Point is, queer shows may generate a lot of buzz on the intenet, but actual views... yeah, not so much I think.

Bob’s entire world view is bent on him being the nerd that eventually gets the final laugh on all his bullies. He wants to be dramatized version of Bill Gates or Spielberg. Only both Gates and Spielberg came from well off families and had every privileged opportunity available to them to succeed. They weren’t bullied nerds and they didn’t get revenge.
Nerds who actually buy into that power fantasy always become like Bob. Fat, bitter, talentless and alone.

Billy-Bob was never a nerd; he was a socially inept tard who proclaimed himself a nerd after watching TV a few times and latching on to people who he wanted to be like (the nerd character who always wins) and because his peepee felt weird whenever he played a Mario game. He lacks the intellect, he lacks the lore knowledge, he lacks the passion.

"Queerbaiting" is just fanspeak for "This particular show didn't uphold my lifestyle or promote my fetish so I'm going to ree at it." There are some LGBTBBQ people who have a feeling of entitlement around being pandered to, and if there's an episode of Bob the Builder where Bob isn't getting his knob slobbed by the local mailman, they'll say it's literally a crime against humanity. This drive to insert gay characters in ALL media, regardless of audience appropriateness is gross, but it's understandable to see it being done by people whose entire life revolves around their sexual proclivities and identarianism activism.

Bob however, only wants to see Mulan portrayed as gay because it gives him fuel to jerk his bloated little button to. I rarely ever see him stanning for lesbians if they don't look like thin, young, conventionally attractive women.
