There is a difference between re-enacting atrocities from the past as a public education tool and doing it for fun.You could argue most movies about the Holocaust fulfill that role in the West.Having someone dress up as the Khmer Rouge and do it for shits and giggles in front of descendants of actual survivors or the survivors themselves would probably not end well.
To be fair most people suffer from that.Almost everyone to some extent makes mistakes when assuming about other cultures.Sometimes it leads to laughs once you realise a certain habit is non-existent in that place and locals correct you othertimes you end up dead because the locals are violently bigoted.You can be a peaceful bigot.Treating the foreigner with a lot of respect and everything but still be ridiculously racist and bigoted towards them.Its the 'be friendly towards the scary foreigner so we don't give him a reason to kill us/lets test the scary foreigner and see how he fucks up our habits so we're fully justified in boiling him alive' style of bigotry.Its one reason why when someone says 'i went to that country and the locals were really friendly' isn't actually evidence that the locals are non-bigoted.Its just evidence that the locals didn't see you doing anything too out there for them to kill you.

This passion project of some random nobody with delusions of grandeour wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't so bland. If he was legit crazy, you could find some entertainment but he is just your uncle playing pretend he's a radio host.
Everybody has some family member that thinks they're smarter than everyone else but they are not harming anyone so the family roll their eyes when he's had one too many and talks how they would totally fix the economy while writing the next New York Times best seller.
But anyways, lets' take August 2020 as our baseline and assume this idiot has had the same enthusiasm as he had on day 1:
First things first, for such an upbeat theme he talks like he's on IV thorazine. This is my first introduction to the channel and that's not a good sign, so I guess he leaves the enthusiasm to his 4 other shows.
He starts off by listng his many podcastst and channels (3 years down the road and none of his videos has hit quadruple digits, despite being of Moviebob's fame).
"These are all the shows that I make but I'm sure that my literal dozens of fans want to know what made me." Jesus H Christ, I can understand Bob's ego but this guy legitimately thinks he's an entertainer worth of a lifetime tv movie.
The whole thing is exactly like Bob's series: he talks and things appear on screen. Except he talks at a normal pace and has only a tenth of his brother's hilarious autism.
The purpose of this video series? A diary of his life. That's it, he will tell you how many times he farted in a day, how many chairs he broke sitting down and how many time he caught Bob fapping to princess peach.....
except not really.
As I have said before, his content is incredibly boring. It doesn't bring anything to the table, it sure as hell doesn't entertain and again, it's a guy with the most boring delusions of grandeur. In any case I sped through the whole thing just to see if there was anything interesting.
4:47 - 5:19 Reagan Bad and Orange man bad!
7:50 - Indiana Jones 2 - movie bad because racism and women rights. Still loves it but he's an educated liberal so he must denounce it before saying anything good.
10:49 - Ghostbusters 2016 good (because he's an educated liberal, mind you) but 1984 version better.
13:40 - Gremlins good!
17:01 - The last starfighter good! But here's an interesting thing. The premise of the movie is that a kid that is only good at playing videogames gets recruited by an alien race to help them win the war. Given Bob's attitude towards vidya affecting reality you know that this movie just validated his Mario fantasies.
...and that's it. There's 2 more movies where he gushes over but assuming anything else is overreaching. There is no secret code, it's just some white trash from Lynn talking about "movie good because me like".
Which leads me to why this video pisses me off: it's the same shit he has been doing for 3 years far less succesfully than his brother yet pretends he needs a fifth show to talk about. It's "member this" the show. And it's basic bitch, mass appeal shit. He's a fucking consoomer like his brother but without access to a thesaurus and lethal doses of autism. The takes are not even cold, they are frozen.
