Second, we have yet another clear indicator of how everything is "us vs. them" to Bobbo. People are having a laugh at consoomers not getting their thrice-yearly MCU fix from the Rat, and all Bob can think is "I HOPE DUNE FAILS." To Bob, Dune is the antithesis of the MCU: based on one of the classics of sci-fi literature instead of disposable comic books, a plot filled with shades of gray and flawed heroes, directed by one of the greater directors of the modern era, and a mature film that doesn't look like it's going to hold your hand and spell everything out to you. If Bobby can't have his capeshit, then he wants Dune to flop instead so that he can smug his way through another day. It's the classic pettiness that we've come to expect.

And finally, Sociopath Bob makes an appearance again, proving why we should all be glad that he'll never be anywhere near any levers of power. Aside from advocating for packing the Supreme Court (ask FDR how that worked out), he also wants Bloomberg et. al. to hire investigators to harass judges across all levels just because they're not down with the leftist agenda, forcing them to step down through bogus investigations (sounds pretty totalitarian to me, Bobby). Never mind that impeaching that many judges would basically force the government to a screeching halt, Bob actually thinks it's a good idea to go around digging up dirt on all his "enemies" (that is, people that he'll never interact with and will likely have no measurable impact on his day-to-day life), for no reason other than he doesn't agree with their political stance. That alone makes him scream "RUIN THEM."

And when someone else points out that hey, that's actually a pretty obscene thing to suggest, even comparing it to Scientology's practices, Bob just shrugs it off by rephrasing his old "tactics, targets" chestnut. The thought that the billionaires that he's stanning for might not always be on his side, or might never have actually been in the first place, doesn't even cross his fat skull.

Look, pay is a part of it but one thing nobody seems to want to admit is that people don't really go into that sort of thing for the pay. You become a cop (or a soldier) for incentives that are more intangible and hard to quantify. It could be positive ("i like to help people") or it could be negative ("i can legally hurt people") but it's there regardless. Bob and his kind are working as hard as they can to chip away (pun intended) at those societal incentives and then wonder that the police aren't better or are insufficient.

And if you think the police and courts are unjust - wait until it becomes the imperative of ordinary citizens to enforce the law. You really won't like that.
